I tried this product on a whim, hoping it would be gentle enough for my baby’s super sensitive skin. We had been using Aveeno’s baby eczema lotion and it seemed like it was irritating to my baby’s skin- often he would cry when we would apply it. This stuff doesn’t irritate or burn his skin at all- he never minds when I lotion him up- and it really does work well for keeping his eczema under control. We use it on his entire body and face. We use cloth diapers so we needed something that would be cloth diaper safe too- and this stuff washes out and doesn’t cause repelling. It also has the added benefit of smelling wonderful! Oh, and a small amount goes a long way so it really does last a while (maybe a month) so the cost is totally worth it.
I also have dry skin and I use this cream as well- it works wonders as a night cream on my face, especially as an under-eye cream. I haven’t had any break-outs and my better-hydrated skin appears much less wrinkly than it did before I started using it. Overall, definitely 5 stars! We just finished our third jar of this stuff, and i’m back to order more!

I’ve been buying this lotion for a few years now. I’ve always been pleased with it, until now. Unfortunately, they’ve changed the formula and it is MUCH thinner now. The price has also increased (I get it, inflation). So, currently you pay more for less. I’ll be looking elsewhere for lotion next time I buy. It’s just not worth it anymore.

This works amazingly well!! Unfortunately, I’m an eczema expert. My son suffered through it for many months after being born, and I have super-sensitive, eczema prone skin as well. I just had a new baby girl and she recently developed a terrible rash all over. The doctor said it was a combination of eczema and cradle cap. Having tried many things over the years, I know all natural ingredients, with no harmful chemicals, additives or scents was a must first, as these can all make the condition worse (and cause it to begin with, so be sure you eliminate all potential, underlying causes and irritants first). For eczema flare-ups, I’ve had luck with Calendula cream, and after some research, decided to give this one a try based on the reviews and safe ingredients. (I religiously look up everything on EWG skin deep site before using it on myself or my baby, and I am so happy to see this cream gets a 0 rating.) After just 24 hours, my baby’s skin dramatically improved. I have never seen anything work so well so quickly!!
To treat your baby’s ezcema, I recommend giving your baby a bath first using a small amount of the purest, unscented soap/bodywash you can find (be sure to rinse well) to get moisture into the skin and then immediately apply a layer of this cream. Reapply throughout the day at any sign of dryness and you should see a great improvement. If skin is too dry to absorb moisture properly, I use a raw, unrefined, grade A shea butter right after the bath (there are several on amazon, do a little research to find the best one) to seal in moisture and then apply this calendula butter throughout the day to maintain moisture.
I use this on my face as well, which is extremely sensitive. I have such a difficult time finding a daily moisturizer that doesn’t irritate it, and this calendula butter is it! It has a wonderfully rich consistency and it smells great too. After using this for a few weeks, I am reordering some to be sure we don’t run out!

My son had rough skin in his arms and legs and I consulted the doctor who said it was not eczema but more like seborrhea (or cradle cap on the skin). I was really worried since he used to scratch his hands, face, legs and head all the time! The Dr. told us to apply 1% hydrocortisone and I was reluctant to do so. I searched and found good reviews about this product. I used it and found good relief for the dry skin. The product is not too oily (although I dont mind too oily). We also figured out the cause for my son’s dry skin. It ws because I was religiously giving my oil massage everyday with either pure coconut oil or olive oil (who knew he would be sensitive to good non-mineral oil..huh..well).
Anyhow, I like this cream, it is a bit expensive, but I would have one with me in case his skin has dry patches etc. Like it!

Sweetsation therapy was recommended to me by my dear co-worker Pediatric Attending Dr. S. as she was helping me to create my baby registry on Amazon.com. She insisted to register for it and to use it. I was a little skeptic about it because being a pediatric nurse and working in the hospital with different skin products, I choose my skin therapy very careful. My baby is very sensitive to smells, but this cream is not harsh on his little nose at all. In addition, this cream rubs into skin gently and really penetrates the surface with just a small amount. And if you’re especially concerned about what exactly you’re putting on your little one’s precious body, relax your mind. This organic cream doesn’t contain any artificial dyes or fragrances.
If your baby is suffering from a bad case of itchy, dry skin, this cream is the answer to your problems. I have been using this cream since he was born, so he never had dry skin. Unfortunately, I had very dry elbows. One dab of this butter cream, and problem patches was a thing of the past. In a matter of minutes, my skin felt smooth once again, just like my baby’s.
