My son has been using this Willo automatic U-Shape toothbrush and found the process easy. I like that it cleans his teeth more thoroughly than his brushing. The toothpaste is unique in that it is in liquid form instead of a paste. Once primed for the toothpaste to enter the brush tray, press the button on the handle to start the brushing process for the upper teeth. Once completed, the machine indicates to flip the brush tray over to complete the bottom teeth.

What makes this thing a total win is how easy it is to use. The toothpaste bottle attaches to the machine and automatically dispenses the perfect amount during the cleaning cycle — no squeezing, no mess, no toothpaste crust around the sink (hallelujah!) 🙌
There are even super helpful tutorial videos that show kids exactly how to brush properly using Willo — from setup to how to position the brush in your mouth for the best clean 🧼🦷 So simple and so smart!
The brushing system includes two buttons:
The top button switches between Daily and Super Mode
Daily Mode runs 2 minutes for the top, then stops and tells the child to flip the brush, then 2 minutes for the bottom
Super Mode adds 25% more time for a deeper clean ⏱️✨
The bottom button lets you toggle between Clean and Scrub modes to adjust the intensity depending on your child’s comfort level
My youngest daughter LOVES brushing now 💕 She literally gets excited to use it and reminds me when it’s time. My 6-year-old thinks it’s super neat too, though she mentioned it was a little uncomfortable at first — which Willo says is totally normal while adjusting. She’s already getting used to it!
We were so impressed with how easy and effective it was that we ended up buying a second machine so both kids have their own. Willo actually recommends one per child, not just to track brushing in the app, but also to preserve the brush head handle seals from frequent swapping 🔄
Heads up, moms of multiples — if you’re considering more than one, just know the machine isn’t exactly compact. Having multiple Willo systems can definitely take up a good chunk of your bathroom counter space 🧼🚿 So make sure you’ve got the room!
A couple things to note:
It’s a little bulky, so if counter space is tight, you’ll need to plan for that
The toothpaste doesn’t have fluoride, so we pair it with a kid-friendly rinse afterward — not a huge deal, but I’d definitely prefer an all-in-one option
And of course, the slight initial discomfort for my oldest, though it’s improving with each use

Bugs –
This brushing system is a great option for any kids hesitant to brush their teeth. The mouth piece seems to be able to reach all surfaces of the tooth, which is preferable to kids just brushing the front and thinking that’s enough. It’s quite innovative with the toothpaste being more of a liquid than a paste or gel.
It does take up some counter space and you need to keep it clean, but it’s worth it if it gets your kiddo brushing.
The app is great for keeping track of your goals!

My 9 year old son has been using an electric sonic toothbrush for nearly a year now and he likes it. This Willo autoflo+ U shaped electric toothbrush has definitely made him more interested in brushing. The items comes well packaged, it is very easy to set it up in minutes and is pretty easy to use. It has a decent size footprint on the bathroom countertop, but for us it fitted well in a corner. It has a small learning curve in terms of ensuring the mouth piece is positioned correctly and you keep the handle parallel to the floor, but they are easy to follow after the first 1-2 times of using it. The brush does all the work, besides you having to clean the mouthpiece before/after and rinsing your mouth after. The fit is good, although the one time when my son was not feeling well, it did make him gag some. He likes the taste of the toothpaste (might not be vegan, if that matters). The toothbrush design seems to be doing a good job at cleaning the teeth. It comes with app connectivity using wifi to track kids’ brushing and also went through a firmware update once. Overall this brush makes brushing super easy, and seems effective. Is the price tag justified? Time and regular dentist check ups will tell, if it is any more effective than the usual brushing. The liquid toothpaste and replacement brush heads are pretty expensive too. My son uses willo occasionally for night time brushing but continues to use his usual electric sonic brush otherwise.

It takes a while to set up all the components, and it takes up a lot of counter space, but it makes brushing fun and easy. You can get additional toothpaste in different flavors. I wish there were adult versions with fluoride toothpaste too.

Great product, my niece loves it, she is brushing her teeth every day. Is easy to be used by 3-7yo kids and has a self-cleaning feature. The liquid toothpaste bottles are not so affordable but they last a while.

This toothbrush has really made brushing fun for my 7 year old. He has had issues following through with cleaning everyday, and this has really made it accessible. The medium mouthpiece is just a bit too big, but it fits. He says that he can’t really taste the wash installed. It beeps and tells him to flip it over for the brushing. The super clean brushes a bit too long for his liking. It takes up a lot of counter space, but it’s worth it for the clean.
