These work well to organize for your pills for the week and it’s easy to take the days pills with you when needed. I like that they have 4 compartments for the day instead of just 3. These hold up well as this was an order of 2 more sets to add to the 2 sets I’ve had for years now. I was setting up my pills for 2 weeks at a time and now with these additional organizers I can do a month at a time. I also like that week’s daily pill organizers then stack into a holder. Makes taking the whole weeks pills with you easy when you travel. Like they have a pill cutter included.

Like another reviewer, I turned mine upside down and it works perfectly. The clear outside allows me to easily see if I have taken my ‘first of the day’ medications, and the contariner (i.e., monday) stays in the kitchen near the sink to remind me to take the others. Much easier to refill than my ohter pill minder. Love this.

THIS IS WONDERFUL! (Where has this pill box design BEEN all this time?!) FINALLY someone has come up with a design that is not only functional but should last! (See my update below) I use pill boxes for my am/pm vitamins. The $3 cheapies I would buy at Walmart were fine for a while but the little plastic lids would break off over time. Fun as it is to have rubberbands holding everything together, (eye-roll) I knew it was time to find something better.
The individual containers that come with this set are great for short trips – just take whichever days I need with me. But best of all is that they each have SLIDE tops to open. No more broken-off flip-lids! There are grooves in the sides of the containers to stop the slide of the clear top at each point or – if needed – it can slide completely off! So quick and easy to fill! It’s crazy how the littlest things in life can make you happy.
I haven’t yet tried the pill splitter but I’m sure it works better than my scissors.
TIP: I take each day out FROM THE BOTTOM and once empty, load it at the top. So, when looking at all the containers in the clear plastic holder, they list Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, etc. from bottom to top – which may seem backwards, but trust me, it makes for smoooooooth operation!
UPDATE: (3/8/2023) Ok, so! How are they holding up? Well enough to make me come back and let you know! 8 months later of DAILY use and they are holding up beautifully! No cracks, no fading… The printed days of the week on the sides of the containers haven’t scratched off with all the sliding to and fro with the clear lids – which are still fairly tight and not sliding off on their own. I am glad I bought two!
My ONLY gripe (and this is VERY small considering how much I love this pill box design) is that I wish the compartments were a WEE bit bigger. I’ve begun a regimen of fish oil pills, which are quite large. One fish oil pill does fit easily diagonally in a compartment, but it doesn’t leave much room in there for anything else. Perhaps very tiny pills, like baby aspirin, could fit along side of it. But like I said, NOT a deal breaker by any stretch, because there are, afterall, FOUR compartments for each day. Also, keep in mind that vitamins tend to be bigger overall than medication so this may not be an issue for you at all.
If you’re on the fence about purchasing this, don’t be. I just wish I’d found this sooner. 🙂 Who knew pill sorting could be fun!
