It brings relief from mucus, helps stop the coughing. I feel I can breathe better. I don’t need to take a lot. Starts working on the first pill. I use it for both allergies and colds whenever I have congestion or runny nose. I have allergies and I can’t tolerate a lot of the cough and congestion medicine on the market. It is Guaifenesin only, without anything else. The caplets are white, no flavoring, the large size. You swallow them whole. I sometimes have trouble with large hard caplets but I have no trouble swallowing these so they might have a coding. They look solid through and through so I imagine you can grind them up if need be (check first with a pharmacist or the ValuMeds). I also notice I don’t feel dehydrated which I sometime get when taking these types of medicines.
I bought this on Oct 2019 which has an expiration date of Dec 2020. I paid $8.99 a bottle which is comparatively cheap. I see it’s now (May 2020) $10.99, still inexpensive.
I think other customers mentioned this, is used for fibromyalgia and other medical & lung issues. It won’t interfere with other medications when you mix them with guaifenesin (ask doctor first).

I have bought this product before, but failed to do a review. So, I would like to do one now. This is a good product price-wise, however, it is difficult to swallow. It does not slide easily. The flavor is as expected – taste sort of chalky, but not bad. This product definitely helps with mucous and as a side affect, it also helps with my fibromyalgia. There is not enough space to talk about fibromyalgia in this review, but do your own research, look up the benefits of guaifenesin 1200 mg. (which is 3 of these tablets) for fibromyalgia. It really helps. If it does not help you, I am sorry, but ever since a doctor told me about this several years ago, I have kept a supply of this and take it religiously every day because I ran out of it once and I had several flare ups of fibromyalgia before my supply came in – so I won’t let myself run out of this again. I always wait until it is on sale and buy 4 big bottles at a time because my husband and I both take it. I have not been paid or compensated in any way for writing this review.

These work OK for me, not as good as other cheap brands on here. What kills me is they have a picture on the label that says “Actual Size.” If you lay one of the pills next to that photo, the pill is MUCH smaller than that photo. It’s one of those “mini” pills that somehow is still 400mg like the bigger pills. Not sure how that works either.
