I bought this several years ago. It is small . The machine fits on the top of the test strip bottle. It has never let e down. I bought a second one for convenience. Easy to use and read. like that I can recharge it. It’s economical compared to others.

Bought this instructions were real easy and downloading site to upload your results in case your doctor wanted to see them is great and app is free which makes it nice.

It had everything I needed to get started. Order your control test kit to test before you start using. The Bluetooth connectivity doesn’t work, but the meter is still excellent. The size is average compared to others and the glucose readings are accurate. The app is handy, you just open it and press log and just enter the number from your reading, it records the time and everything. Won’t even have to do that if the Bluetooth works for you!

Easy to use, even for first timers like myself. The Bluetooth option is very nice as it remembers your readings if you forget to sync right after you finish getting your reading. So, you will have them all sync the next time you open the app and refresh. The app itself has some options that really I can care less, but the fact that you don’t have to manually input your results is a plus for me. Overall, nice little reader.

… It’s disappointing that a simple, non-organized bag (ZERO compartments) was included instead of the functional (at least) one where you can to some degree organize the meter, lancets, test strips container, and lancing device. The one I received in the kit is useless, where you just throw everything in the bag… loose! How cheap can a company get? So it’s either Trividia Health or the seller, Wellme Brands that’s responsible. This isn’t a deal breaker by any means. It’s purely principle!

There’s lots of extra stuff in the box. This is great considering this is a long-term purchase and you must continue to buy strips and lances. So nice to have a good stock right out of the box. Despite its simplicity, I like the no frills zipper bag. The lances are the same as CareTouch so I can use up my old stock of those. I love that there is a control solution. I was able to use it to test my other meters (monitors?). True Metrix was at 37, CareTouch read at 41, the ReliOn read the control at 84 (Walmart junk). There are some quirks:
1) Good thing the lances are the same because the True Metrix “TRUEdraw” is a mystery to use. It does not come apart easily and to discard a lance you must grab it and pull it out. The CareTouch one can be ejected so I’ll keep that one.
2) The app… ugh… It gets stuck on “Searching for meters…” and never stops. You must manually refresh every time you open the app. Then I have to kill the app (Android on my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra) and start over. Every time I start over it reads the meter just fine.
3) I have big hands so it’s very difficult to get a test strip out of the little bottle: I need to dump out a few and then fumble for just one. Perhaps that’s just me but the head-scratching design of the lancing device will tell you they don’t spend a whole lot of time thinking about us real people and how we use these things.
4) UPDATE: After using this unit for a month, and just having lab tests done, I have found it to be wildly inaccurate – to the point of being medically unsafe or expensive if I were to actually act on the readings (i.e. make a dramatic course correction in my diet or rush to the hospital).
This is my third monitor and as usual the numbers are wildly different than the other two during the same reading – even with the control solution. As such, and I think most of use who’ve tried more than one device, these are not very good medical devices without a tighter regulatory standard. This one in particular is simply unsafe. Do not buy.

This is one of only 6 glucose monitors that is 95% accurate, or better, with a margin of error of15% or less, in the Diabetic Glucose Range of measurements (120 – 180 mg/dl ) All other meters only meet this standard in the Normal Glucose Range of (70 – 120 mg/dl). The most accurate in the Diabetic Range is the Contour Next ONE, with a rating of 99% accurate with only a 7% margin of error.
