I recently fell in my bedroom and sprained my left knee. I bought the Walgreens brand of Voltaren gel that the doctor recommended. It seems to work okay, but I have been using Tiger Balm and Zostrix for years. I was out of Tiger Balm and decided that since I was placing an order on Amazon, that I might as well purchase Tiger Balm as well. I know that Tiger Balm normally comes in a small jar, but this was smaller than I expected. It came in a tiny red tin, like half the size of the glass jar I normally get.
And this seemed much stronger in terms of the smell than what I expected. I normally buy the white ointment so maybe that is why I was a little surprised by the strength of the odor. This was a reddish ointment. The reason I say it seems very strong is that I had to place the little red tin back inside the box so that I couldn’t smell it after placing the lid on it and putting it on the table next to my recliner.
Overall, an excellent rub. Was just surprised by the size of the container.

I expected this to be small, but seriously? This should have been a “free sample “. A small container of this ( 4 times this size!) is $2 cheaper at Wal-Mart. My fault for not reading closer. It DOES work pretty well though. I’ll buy it again. Lol, just not here.

The container was a little difficult to open but I have nails so that’s on me. It does work and it doesn’t take much. I would use gloves to apply and wash hands immediately afterwards. The only bad is I didn’t realize how small it is. Bit other than that it works and feels warm on the injured area. Definitely don’t get on your face or anywhere other than the sore spot. Be careful. But great products overall.
