This is a great buy for the price, especially compared to others on the market that can be hundreds of dollars. I saw results the very next day with this! However, the battery on this is pretty rough. I followed all instructions in the manual, but it still lasts JUST long enough for me to do my entire face as instructed with only 1 light. The manual states that you should be able to use both lights for the full time each in one charge, but I have to pick only one light to use because the battery doesn’t last long enough to use both in one sitting. And it takes forever to charge. Additionally, the blue light seems to be much less sensitive and only works when pressing rather hard, compared to my red light attachment. All of this to say, if you’re ballin’ on a budget, this is honestly a fine choice. Just remember that you often get what you pay for. It does the job, just needs a little patience and understanding! I would 100% recommend to someone who isn’t willing to spend a bunch, but would inform them that it isn’t perfect.

I was really hoping this would work for the bad acne i have. I had recently broke out with small acne and cyst type acne. I have a tan/Almond complexion. Ill be returning. Maybe on lighter or white skin may work out better. The light is good and i can tell it works for acne just not on darker skin. I didnt like how it left a dark imprint on my skin when my face is already full of hyperpigmentation and acne. Ill be returning.

Someone tried to sell me a similar wand for $3800 at a home show. This is all you need. It really works. I will post before and after pics soon but CONSISTENCY IS KEY. Yeah, the battery only lasts 2 sessions but it is so easy to plug in at night (like a phone). Highly recommend!

Listen up. I’m 30. I’ve never not had bad hormonal acne that made me feel so incredibly self conscious. When I switched BC it RAMPED TF UP – the acne became ulcers that wouldn’t heal. I was beyond distraught and bought this in tears and desperation.
IT WORKS!!! It works. But please read this carefully. First, manage your expectations. A lot of folks were complaining about the battery life. For $40, please be realistic. It’s not the best battery life. I have to fully charge mine between every session. Use a tiny bit of planning and organizational skills and just get it done.
Second, USE. IT. CONSISTENTLY. If you can’t do that, don’t buy this and then complain when you don’t get results. You must use it consistently. I’d say 5/7 days of the week. I’ve been consistent for 3 full months now and the difference is night and day. I don’t have to wear concealer/coverup/foundation anymore! My skin is smooth, and most importantly, my skin barrier is healthy and intact! I’ve never known a face without pain, blemishes, flaking, weeping, etc. I’m 30 and enjoying it for the first time. Not a day goes by that I don’t notice and appreciate my newfound confidence. “Going-out” makeup actually looks good and smooth now! I’m not cringing when people get near my face. BUT I USE THIS PRODUCT CONSISTENTLY.

I started getting adult acne 2 years ago and would have terrible breakouts about 3/4 times a year. Nothing would help it and I tried so many acidic washes, peels and facials to try to get rid of my issue.
The first time I tried this machine, I literally could feel it working so I used the machine for 6 minutes on each section of my face instead of the 3 minutes recommended. BIG MISTAKE! Don’t do it! I also didn’t use the red calming light afterwards bc I was a bit skeptical about light therapy. Also BIG MISTAKE! Make sure the first time you use this machine, you use it only in the spot for the recommended 3 minutes and make sure you use the calming red light afterward too! The next day all of the acne on my face and neck had come to the surface and my face was a little tender bc I didn’t use the machine as instructed. Within 3 days my acne was gone! I couldn’t believe it. I use the machine every 2 weeks and it keeps my acne in check. Now my 8 year old daughter is starting to struggle with mild acne and I use this machine on her as well. If you use it according to directions the machine does not hurt.
This is the best purchase I have made this year and it was less than $40. I recommend to anyone who suffers from acne.

Product came and never worked. Charged it for 24 hours and it still did nothing. I have returned for a replacement to give it another shot. Hoping the next one works. Also incredibly frustrating when these products don’t come with chargers?? A product that needs a charger and you don’t provide one? Don’t understand that at all.

I’ve been using the Spa Sciences Claro for roughly a month now. I would say this product works pretty well. It definitely has helped heal my cystic acne. It hasn’t entirely eliminated it but I notice when I do get new breakouts they heal faster. For the price, this is a steal compared to other LED devices. It even includes both the red and blue lights. I got mine cheaper than the regular $39 price. I paid $26. It also has a one year warranty. My main complaints about this is because of the size of the head it can be difficult to reach smaller areas of the face. Additionally, the device shuts off automatically after 4 3 minute rounds making it difficult to treat more of your face if you need to do so. The eye protection provided is also not really useful as it’s more of a blindfold.
Edit: the battery life sucks. Not even sure why they include 2 heads as I can’t even get a full 4 treatments per head. I can max 5-6 3 minute rounds before the battery dies. Oh, and you can’t use it while its charging.
