I just recently ran out of my go-to exfoliant, the Boscia exfoliating powder (which retails for around $30), and must say that I’m surprised and delighted to find that my experience with this scrub is comparable at a third of the price. Texturally, the scrub is quite thick and goes on my face evenly, creating a rich lather without too much trouble. Given how thick the formula is, I only need to use a dime sized dollop or so to cleanse my face. As such, I suspect this tube is going to last me a long while which is another plus. The exfoliant is subtle but effective. I have sensitive skin, which a lot of exfoliants can irritate, but this one refreshes the skin without causing redness, drying, or breakouts. It is lightly scented, but the scent is more of an afterthought than anything. I like it.
If you have very oily skin, you could definitely use this scrub every day. However, for those with dry or mixed skin types, you can’t go wrong alternating this with a foam or oil based cleanser every other day. I cleanse my face with this in the shower after applying an oil based makeup remover, then follow up with a hydrating serum and snail emulsion. The result is soft, firm, refreshed skin and no irritation!
I’ll be sure to come back and update if I experience any change in my skin’s reaction to this product, as well as with how long the tube lasts me. If you’re looking for a moderately priced exfoliant that won’t rip up your face, this is a wonderful option.

i recently got into korean skincare and im glad i chose this! the exfoliating beads or whatever it is, feels really good on the skin and its not too harsh like st ives. its a great size bottle too for the price. i typically use this at night, if im wearing makeup that day. it also smells good too. i have sensitive, red acne prone skin

Amazon was out of my usual rice cleanser, so I decided to try this one. I certainly wasn’t disappointed, and I now have a new favorite.
This is a wonderful cleanser. It’s rich and thick, if you use it correctly. You’ll need to apply this to a damp face. Then, just squeeze a little of the cleanser onto your wet hands, and rub them together until a nice foam forms. Then, apply to your face and scrub with either a cloth or a battery operated brush (I love the PMD, which is for sale here on Amazon).
This is marketed as an exfoliating cleanser, and it does contain tiny particles of rice, which certainly brighten the skin, but it won’t really exfoliate anything other than the dead skin cells that are clinging to your skin. However, we really can’t ask a cleanser to do much more than that. (I also have the PMD exfoliator, and that works wonders.)
While this cleanser won’t give you a deep exfoliation treatment, it will remove all the “bad stuff” on the surface of your skin and leave it feeling wonderful and looking brighter.
Unless you have extremely sensitive skin, this cleanser is mild enough to use every day. I don’t have sensitive skin at all, and I use this in the morning, then again in the evening after my oil based cleanser, and I’ve had no problems at all.
If you’ve read my other reviews, you might know I have very dry skin. (Bummer, people with dry skin get wrinkles and superficial lines more easily, so I’m trying to stave them off with a rigorous skincare program.) This is the perfect cleanser for people with dry or normal skin. It will work on oily skin as well, but those people might need something a little more cleansing, something that we dry skinned folks might find a bit strong.
All-in-all, I’m so happy with this foaming cleanser that I plan on trying the other skincare products in this line.

I love rice ingredients in skincare so when I found this, I had high hopes. The scrub is minimal so not harsh (not at all like THE apricot scrub). A little goes a long way I think because it foams quite a lot with a pencil eraser-sized amount of product. I will say that it seems to strip my skin a bit, especially if I cleanse for a long time. I use micellar water and this scrub and haven’t had any issues with leftover makeup or dirt. I think I’ll finish using it up but I won’t repurchase.

My mom is an overexfoliator to the bone. I’ve been trying to get her some lighter option to try. She enjoys it and uses it daily. Her skin always looks beautiful! She liked another brand, but it was discontinued, so I’m glad we found a replacement that she enjoys.
Context: 59 years old, beautiful skin with practically no wrinkles, tiny blackheads will show sometimes, but nothing the occasional pore strip won’t fix.

Lathers to a rich foam. I wet my hands and lather it in my palms before applying to my face. Has beneficial ingredients (rice ferment water), gentle enough to use twice a day.

This is the best facial scrub I have ever came across. It makes my skin feel super soft & you don’t have to use much of the product either. I’ve added this into my skin care routine & I’m never taking it out.

Despite this being labeled as a scrub, it’s more of a cleanser. It has some exfoliation to it but it’s very mild. The product gets creamy as you massage it into your skin. I probably wouldn’t repurchase since I prefer more of an exfoliating product but it does feel nice on the skin and I like the creaminess of the product (reminds me of The Face Shop’s Rice Water Bright cleanser).
