Hydrating, brightening, and lasts a long time since you only need a little! I notice a difference every time I use it- and try to do so consistently. Love this specific one for my needs. I also like the packaging- it’s heavy and smooth and very pretty. Product smells clean and luxurious too.

I am actually a benefiance wrinkle resist user but since they recently discontinued the old formulation, I was hoping this was in some way similar to it (I think this formula has been updated too). Sadly, it did not meet my expectations. I LOVE the smell, by but the cream is thin and not moisturizing enough for me. I wasn’t looking for brightening, specifically, and I don’t think I saw a difference anyway. Maybe this is okay for the day, but not for the night.

I have very fair, smooth (but aging) skin with dark areas especially around the inner area between my eyes. I never leave the house without concealer, even if I’m wearing no other makeup. I have tried a multitude of “dark circle” products – from drugstore to high-end department store brands. Nothing has ever worked with any appreciable result until I tried Shiseido White Lucent. I’ve been using it for about six weeks now and I have definitely seen a difference. It doesn’t work miracles, but the dark areas are diminishing to some degree. It goes on very smooth and makes my skin feel refreshed. Only need a small dab, so the small jar will last quite a while and should not be a concern. Although I could probably wear it under my makeup in the morning, I don’t. I use it nightly and then twice daily on weekends. I’m very happy with results thus far!
