This concentrate feels a bit oily to me. Although I do need to moisturize my skin, this particular formula was a bit too much for my skin type and didn’t sink into the skin like I needed it to. Sadly it’s a no-second-purchase for me.

I really wanted to love this product. I’m a huge believer in volufilline and was excited to try it. However, the consistency of this product makes it really hard to use. It’s very oily, very thin, and doesn’t dry down or soak into the skin at all. I apply this to my undereyes and lips, and even if you apply a super thin layer, it begins to run and slip. Therefore I really wouldn’t recommend applying before you sleep, since it will absolutely get everywhere. It’s so oily that you definitely can’t apply other products on top, and to get the full benefits you don’t want to apply it over something else, so you can really only use this product on days when you aren’t planning to wear any makeup at all. That makes it really difficult to use the product consistently, and unfortunately you won’t see results unless you use it pretty much daily.

Bottle is super tiny. I was not expecting a serum to be so oily. I ended up using it more as a final step in my routine because of the consistency. I felt it did give some plumping effect but it may have been the hydrating ability of the oil.there was no strong scent and my skin did feel softer after use.

I had no idea what volufiline was until I did a little research to find out what it is for skincare, so I decided to try this serum out! It’s a Korean beauty brand and it says it’s 100% volufiline from France Sederma, though there are 3 ingredients: hydrogenated polyisobutene, anemarrhena asphodeloides root extract, and tocopherol. The serum itself actually feels nice, a little oily for me even with my dry skin, as it’s not even a dry oil but it stays on without absorbing too well. I think this would work for someone who has many fine lines and needs plumping, but it may not work for everyone as it didn’t do too much for me unfortunately.

I love the feel and absorbability of the product. It does plump which may be a temporary result, but I will continue to use. I recommend you add it to your moisturizer or use it under your moisturizer.
