Renews Retinol Anti Wrinkle Serum goes on your skin smooth and oil free. There is no tacky feeling and it has a faint pleasant smell that dissipates. At first I was disappointed when I didn’t see Hyaluronic acid listed as an ingredient. However Renew contains sodium hyaluronate, upon further research I found that it is a sodium salt form of hyaluronic acid. This form makes it more water soluble allowing it to penetrate deeper into the skin because its synthesize to have smaller molecular structure. It’s also more stable and less susceptible to damage from oxidation and this can help the product last longer. Vitamin c serum takes weeks to show improvements. So far I like the texture of the product and the long term benefits associated with a retinol serum. Price is affordable and reasonable. This contains a 2 month supply, it does not leak and the pump works great.

I’m on my second bottle of this Canadian-made, cruelty-free Retinol serum. It feels silky during application, is absorbed quickly, and give my skin a smoother, “dewy” look and feel. The lines on my forehead also seems somewhat reduced. The serum seems to have a mild exfoliating effect in a few days. I use a facial brush to expedite the process. The only thing I would change is the bold “Anti-Wrinkle” labeling. The bottle is pretty enough to display on the counter. The labeling is NOT.

This Renew Actives Retinol Serum isn’t packaged luxuriously and it doesn’t have a lot of aesthetic appeal, but it seems to work. And at this price, a good retinol serum that works is fine by me. I’m a little confused by the inclusion of other ingredients that don’t necessarily play well with retinol, but I did not experience skin irritation and my wrinkles do seem softer, although they’re not nearly about to disappear.

I don’t usually try different kind of brand for my face but decided to try this as there is 1 percent retinol it doesn’t sting my face or burn it’s very hydrating and it spreads really good and it’s not oily my face feels good

I like that there’s no scent, it’s very firming and lightweight. I use it at night and sometimes in the morning. Every other day I apply a moisturizer on top of it. All in all I will definitely purchase again.
