Got the device but noticed that the box was damaged and torn/worn out so cannot say for sure that I got a new device or if it was something that was returned. The package itself has a user manual included.
I am not sure why this is being marketed as a care pack as it only includes a device and you have to purchase the lancets and test strips on your own.

We got the glucometer for occasional use to check blood sugar when my wife is feeling like hers is out of sorts. I figured it would arrive with a small pack of strips, maybe like 10 and was disappointed that it arrived with literally nothing.
The overall assembly of the unit was fine. I didn’t see any manufacturing flaws. In my opinion this is a very cheap unit that is used to try to get people to buy very expensive disposable test strips and we’re not falling for it. Another thing I’m concerned about was lack of controls to make sure that this thing is actually reading accurately. And for that reason we won’t be using it. On a positive note, it’s very easy to read the screen. The LCD numbers are large. That’s pretty much it’s only redeeming quality. If you can get free test strips then this might be something to look at but only in that instance.

I tried using this, watched video’s, cleaned hands, strips not expired, and keep getting Error message after 3 tries. I quit. I wish I never got this. Too late to return as I used it for the first time after deadline:(
