Ok, so, yes…. The box was a mess when I received the package. The outside packaging didn’t leak, but when I opened the box, the bottles were a mess !!!! Yes, I washed them off in the sink and…. They were all filled to the very rim. So, why would I complain? Because you have to rinse the outside? So what. You’re getting huge bottle filled to the very top for a great price. Yes, I WILL order again when I need hand soap.

This should last forever. My order arrived in great condition. The soap was tightly packaged together inside of another box. Another reviewer mentioned the containers do not have seals, but they do. They are not glued down very well. If you unscrew the whole cap, you can see that the seal came off inside of the cap. If you snap open the top, you will see the seal covering the mouth of the bottle. Considering the pandemic, I’d say this is a good buy.

Purchased 4 one gallon bottles. Two were of the usual creamy consistency and 2 gallons were “very” runny. I’ve used Softsoap liquid since it was first introduced in the 80’s without problems. Not sure I’d purchase from buyer again for fear of receiving runny product.

I only use Soft Soap because of the psoriasis I got from compulsively washing my hands. It has been a life saver. I ordered this great deal so I could takin to work and have plenty at home. The only reason this isn’t a 5 -star review is the the person who packed the soap bundle packed it upside down to ship it. So when it arrived, one of the lids had leaked and I had to spend 10 minutes washing off the other bottles and making sure none of the bottles were actually busted. Thankfully they were not.

I have used this product for many years, but the Softsoap Liquid Hand Refill, Aloe Vera Fresh Scent that was delivered in January 2023 was NOT the same product as previously delivered. Upon opening the first plastic container, I became aware of a very different smell to the soap, a smell which is very distressing to my respiratory system and a smell that stays on your hands even after long attempts to rinse it off. This prompted me to check the ingredients, and I noted that SEVERAL ingredients have been changed compared to BOTH the old product (labelled identically) and the ingredients listed on the website and available in the photos on the website which can easily be read by zooming in on the photo. One of the NEW ingredients (NOT listed on the website) is sodium lauryl sulfate which has been widely reported to cause skin and eye irritations, dermatitis, eczema and other skin rashes, dizziness, headaches and even hormonal disruptions. Moreover, used long term, and according to some medical websites, sodium lauryl sulfate is carcinogenic – meaning that it can cause cancer. At any rate, I did experience headaches and lightheadedness and respiratory irritation from using this Softsoap product. Amazon sold this without updating their website as to the change of several ingredients. I did not open the first container of this product until after the allowable return date, so I appear to be stuck with 4 gallons of a useless and potentially dangerous product. Amazon needs to address this issue. And Softsoap should revert to making this soap with the older ingredients, or they should label the product differently and sell it under a different name. Regardless, Softsoap should reimburse all purchasers who received a product that was different from the one that was advertised. There can be serious consequences to other purchasers who are not aware of the changed ingredients.

This review is for the Softsoap Liquid Hand Soap Refill, Soothing Clean, Aloe Vera Fresh Scent – 1 gallon, Pack of 4. This is my favorite soap, Aloe Vera Fresh Scent Liquid Hand Soap. The scent is mild, and I do not get tired of it, the soap is soft and smooth on my hands, and lathers evenly and easily cleaning my hands. You can use a little pump or a bigger pump depending on how dirty your hands are, and the soap looks like liquid white pearls, very beautiful. The refill container makes it easy to refill my soap dispensers in the house, and the soap is reasonably priced, and these four refill contains last me a very long time, overall great value.
