With my current skin (transition between oilier to dryer combination) this sunscreen didn’t absorb quite as well as I hoped it would and left me greasy. There is no white cast. I believe the Hydro part of the name is accurate. Since this didn’t absorb well it did feel a bit tacky.

This sunscreen was pretty effective during the ultimate gauntlet: Disneyworld in late summer. I was sweating, had a full face of makeup on and everything and this did not fail me during three hours of intense sun exposure. I did reapply over my makeup and it was fairly easy to rub in without smearing too much. My skin did not break out after using this – I am really sensitive to some sunscreens where they make my skin itchy, red and hot feeling but this did not do that. 🙂 Perfect to pop in your purse. No white cast in person or in camera flash.

This truly is a very lightweight and non-greasy sunscreen. My skin tends to be on the dry side, and I did feel the sunscreen is lightly moisturizing, but not enough to really moisturize my skin. Since it is so light, it’s perfect to use under makeup or underneath other moisturizers to give your skin a good protective barrier against harmful sun rays. My skin is very sensitive, and this sunscreen does not irritate my skin at all. I love that I can’t feel it at all once it’s on my face. It is a small bottle, so I wouldn’t expect it to last long if I had to apply it very heavily, but if I was going to swim or just be outside on a really sunny day I would probably just use regular sunblock and save this for when I need my skin to look nice.

This TirTir Hydro UV Sunscreen Lotion is nice, it blends into your skin well. They are right about saying it “leaves no white cast.” As for being super hydrating I didn’t notice that aspect standing out to me about this lotion. It just seemed a normal finish to it like other sunscreens. It is a small amount you are getting here, just be aware of that. But if you are only using on your face once a day or so it should last a while. It is a good idea to have a face lotion with sunscreen as your daily moisturizer. I’m not sure if that is how this is intended to be used or if it is for when you are out in the sun and need to apply a bit more protection on top of your other sunscreen. All in all I like it, however the price seems a bit steep to me for the amount here.

My biggest thing with sunscreen is whether it protects, how much it FEELS on my skin, and whether it leaves behind a white cast. Well, I can report back that it does in fact protect my skin so white that I am reflective, it blends into my skin like a lotion, and it does not leave behind a white cast.
It is pricey, but there are added benefits, like the aloe and collagen, that, imo, make it worth the price. Without these, I would feel that it cost too much.

I’ve been following the Korean skincare 7 step system for a couple of months – I always dread the “sunscreen” step because I generally dislike sunscreen but here is one that I actually like! It’s a mineral based sunscreen that actually works well on my face. Smooth, clear and so lightweight and it doesn’t tint your face white. In the past I’ve resorted to using chemical based sunscreens because I haven’t been able to find a mineral one that I actually like. That all changed with Tirtir – a famous Korean cosmetics company – and they have done their research and formulated a fantastic product that provides excellent sun protection with a minimum of the “annoying” features you typically find in sunscreen. Absolute winner here and recommended with enthusiasm!

Love this sunscreen! It truly does not have any white cast for me ( I am usually a shade 23-25 in korean cosmetics). It has a lightweight feeling and does not feel heavy to wear at all. It does feel moisturizing yet not heavy. This would be great to wear during the summer weather. Love that it has SPF 50. It has a slight fragrance but not overwhelming at all and it goes away soon after.
