I have only worn these for 3 days, so I don’t know how long they will hold up (no socks last these days) but I’m going to give these a 5 star. First of all, the silky fabric is just what I wanted. No thick fuzzy cotton that bunches in your shoe. They are sleek and thin and elasticy and tight, but not crazy hard to get on. I wore them for a 3 day mountain trail running/hiking adventure through all sorts of miles, dirt, sweating, thorny bushes, fell in a creek with them… all that – and they fit great. They stayed up tight, never bunched in my shoes, no sock issues. And as soon as I put them on, I got a compliment on the pink petal detail. So I don’t know how long these will last, but I’m pretty sure I’ll be buying a couple more pairs of these.

** Socks: My husband & I have been searching for better fitting, breathable compression socks and these socks are the best we have found so far. The combination of spandex & nylon seems to work really well. The socks have a breathable toe that we both really appreciate. (Some of the other brands we have tried do not have this feature & we find our feet sweat more & that becomes unpleasant.) The packaging says to hand wash but I have found these socks hold up just fine if you put them in the machine & air dry. I would recommend these socks to others & I plan to buy more.
** Customer Service: When we received our socks in the mail (Friday afternoon – late) my husband went to try on his socks & we found one of the socks had a small hole in the top of the foot portion of the sock. I sent an email, explaining the issue, to Powerlix customer service, not expecting any type of response until Monday. To my surprise the customer service at Powerlix got back to me almost immediately & they sent out a new pair of socks right away. I really appreciate the promptness of the response & ease in which this company corrected my issue.

These Powerlix are the longest of the three brands of compression socks I’ve tried. The other two brands are Rikedom and Wanderlust. The Rikedom just comes up to over my calf, the Wanderlust up to just below the knee, but the Powerlix comes comes up above the knee! I like the feel of that, but they do not stay up there all day long. But I work as a Maintenance man at a hospital, so I move around quite a lot. As far as compression, the Powerlix seem a little less compression than my Rikedoms, which is backwards, since the Rikedom’s are 15-20 mmHg, while the Powerlix are 20-30 mmHg. The Rikedoms are also a little bit thicker material, while the Wanderlust are even thicker. I think I like the feel of compression and thickness of the Rikedoms the best; the Powerlix seem a little too thin of material and not as strong of compression. I’ll have to update this review when I see how well the Powerlix wear. My Rikedoms are almost two years old and no sign of wear or loss of compression at all. The Wanderlusts however, which are the same age as the Rikedoms, have developed two holes on each side of the ankle where the color changes. So my favorites are still the Rikedoms, but I just wish they were a couple inches longer.
Update after a month with the Powerlix: They are now my favorite compression stockings, of the three I’ve tried. The Rikedoms always end up halfway down my calf at the end of a working day. The Wanderlusts stay up, but as I’ve said, they have developed holes at the ankle. The Powerlix stay up, even though they slip below my knee after an hour or so, they never fall lower than just below the knee. So my lower leg is always completely covered and supported all day long. They work the best for me.

I loved the feel of the material when I first put these socks on, but they were a bit long reaching to just above my knees. I had ordered a size s/m since I am a tiny 5’2″ woman with skinny legs. Over the next few hours these compression socks became very uncomfortable around the top. The elastic at the top of the socks left angry looking red marks that hurt even though they were definitely not to tight. They actually slowly slid down slightly as I wore them . I decided to remove them around the three hour mark because of the red marks hurt so badly.

When I bought these, I was able to get a solid black pair – perfect for work! Now they only seem to have the colorful ones, and those are very obvious with my work shoes.
I love these socks, but please bring back the solid black! I’ll buy 3 more pairs!
