It does create massive volume but don’t expect to get your hands through your hair. It leaves your hair sticky. I have fine and curly hair and capable of running my fingers through my hair due to not using any product. After using the powder I had to comb through it and lost a ton of hair. My curls went from defined to loose, pointless to style hair.
Straight hair might work better with the product.

My husband is in his 60’s. It adds fullness to his thinning hair and it stays until he shampoos it out. When he wakes the next morning, he can brush his hair and some of the fullness returns. His only issue is it gives the hair when you touch it a gritty feel (but cosmetically looks normal).

I read the negative reviews on this and all I can say is that maybe it’s not right for everyone or maybe they weren’t using it right. This product is magic! As a woman with thinning hair, I am constantly searching for products to add thickness and volume. A few sprinkles of this in the right places and it is like I have twice as much hair.
A few tips:
There is a learning curve – don’t wait to try it until you are getting ready for something important. Try it on a normal day and figure out how best to use it first!
Yes, the bottle is small but it doesn’t take much! Too much will be a huge mistake. Start small. Add small amounts at a time.
Yes, it makes your hair feel a little…weird. Not quite sticky but definitely like it has product in it. BECAUSE IT DOES!
Do use some kind of holding spray once you have finished styling just to keep everything in place. Yes this has some hold but it’s meant to keep it looking fuller and thicker – if you don’t add a spray, your style will not last.

I really didn’t know there was such a product until I saw someone on y tube demonstrating a similar product for gray hair. I tried to get that product, but it was out of stock at all the places I tried including Amazon. I opted for this product. Just for comparison, I went to Sally’s and bought Toppik (a similar product) which was much more expensive. For me, this product works much better than Toppik. I talked to my hair stylist and she suggested I bring it along next time and she can perhaps show me how to use it even more effectively. It is a quite small container, but you only use a very small amount. What I like is that even after sleeping, the next day my hair still looks quite nice with just a few minutes work. The container indicates it is for all colors, but I cannot attest to that. I no longer feel embarrassed by my thinning hair in front.

The product is so worth the price and lasts me about three months or so of daily use. You just need a tiny bit in the hands and you can rub it together, flip your head over and rub from the roots to the ends and gently back comb the roots to where you’ve applied it and it will give you a major boost of volume that lasts all day. It does get a bit greasy if you use too much. I also apply a touch of dry shampoo to hold it all in without the oiliness coming through. Perfect.

This product gives my hair some lift and volume. It works on the day I wash my hair if I need more lift and also on off days. Haven’t notice any white in my hair like other products. Exspensive but a little goes a long way and will be perfect for travel.
