This is a great face wash for any dark sun/aging spots. However, I do suggest easing into this regimen. I purchased it with the moisturizers for day and night. For the first week my face looked like I had a chemical peel and was very tender. I have adjusted and my face feels and look so much better.

I used this for two days before I realized this was outright burning my skin. I had the chemical equivalent of a bad sunburn on my face. I tossed this and the fade cream in the trash and made a beeline for the Cl***q** counter at the department store for help fixing my face. Never again. I still love Palmer’s coconut oil formula body lotion and stretch mark lotion. This and the fade cream proved to be the wrong product for me. I found that a simple, battery operated, face scrubber used nightly, with face soap and water actually does more for me than either of the dark-spot removing products I’ve used this year. My complexion is a mix of east Asian and olive-toned caucasian (per aural family history, by way of the Mediterranean region over a couple of generations).
