Added 1 table spoon of coconut sugar to it and 1 table spoon of Raw dark cacao powder, plus ice and water….Perfection! More importantly, it is guilt free! No “natural flavors”…whatever that means.

I love this product, please don’t stop selling it. Not only is it tasteless, but it mixes in VERY easily even with water, and it has no carbs or sugar. It’s perfect to pair with collagen supplements. I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my skin, my energy, and can feel my hair growing (literally). I bought this originally because I lost a lot of muscle mass and I started back up on basic exercises without showing improvement, this makes me feel like I can easily regain it back now. I do feel stronger, even with only taking 1 scoop. Don’t skimp on your proteins, this may be the best one I’ve ever tried and I used to try a lot of them, even the more pricy and plant based ones. Please please please don’t stop selling this.

Love this protein powder, it mixes well and has no aftertaste. High grams of protein. I use the unflavored as it has nothing else added like sugar, etc. I have to add more protein to my diet and this was the best way for me. I use it in a smoothie with fresh fruit, green’s and will mix matcha to with it.

I just tossed another small fortune in protein powder due to the sucralose aftertaste. I kept searching for the ‘no sugar alternative’ varieties and this came up on a runners site. Love it! It tastes like an indulgence, so glad to have finally found one that is easy to drink and not a pain to force down. Price is high but so is quality.

I’ve been purchasing this protein powder for about a year now. At first I absolutely loved it. Everything was great, flavor, blendability, smell and taste. Over time I noticed that the quality has declined. With my last few orders I could tell that the powder doesn’t seem to be as high quality as it used to be and my most recent order (5/5/22) was a game changer! How unfortunate…first thing I noticed was the smell, it is very off putting. It smells like spoiled or rancid oils. I’m not sure if the sunflower lecithin has to do with that, I would assume so. This ingredient was not in the original recipe I once loved. I am aware that this particular ingredient is supposed to aid in the blendsability of the product, creating a smoother less clumpy protein shake, but that’s not the case here. I noticed that this batch specifically sticks and clumps horribly, maybe because it’s gone bad? I’m not sure. The expiration date claims it’s still good till December 2022. The best way I can describe the smell of the product is that it’s quite off putting, similar to a bag of sunflower seeds or nuts that sat in the hot sun for a few days causing the oil‘s to go rancid. Unfortunately after a year of using this product I’m going to have to find something else because the decline in quality. I kept giving it the benefit of the doubt but It seems to be quite low end which I find interesting because the price has increased over time. And if you’re wondering I did try it…the flavor is similar to the smell as weird as that may sound…which was pretty gross but fortunately it didn’t hurt my stomach. I will not be consuming the rest of protein powder just to be on the safe side.

This was the perfect protein powder for me when I first ordered a one pound bag, no artificial sweeteners, blends well, and tastes amazing! But when I ordered 2.5 pound bag, it had a strange aftertaste. I read some reviews about people experiencing something similar. It’s not expired. I reached out to the company and they responded quickly and sent me a new bag! Really appreciate the customer service, but I don’t think I’ll be buying it again because it still had that strange taste. Based on some research, it might be the sunflower lechithin… I’m going to try to find something that doesn’t have that ingredient.

As a senior, I bought this to increase my protein. It isn’t easy to mix, so a blender or a whisk comes in handy. It does have the flavor of chocolate, although not a strong flavor. For me, it works best in a chocolate smoothy.

I’m a researcher, and by nature maybe over-analyze things. But I feel the importance of adequate protein cannot be overemphasized, especially for athletes and older populations. This is why I like Opportuniteas WPI:
High percentage of protein by weight. 30g/serving and 28g of that is protein. That’s ~90% pure protein. I take the unflavored version and I don’t taste any unpleasant flavors. You can add your favorite flavors (real vanilla extract is good) to keep it low/zero carb/sugar. Un-denatured WPI retains some very important compounts, including colostrum and lactoferrin. These two compounds have a host of benefits, including immune boosting, and the lactoferrin has been proven in clinical trials to increase osteoblast activity, which is what helps build bones. Another very important amino acid for muscle building is Leucine. For some reason, grass fed New Zealand cows produce higher percentage of Leucine. This WPI has 4.2 grams, which is among the highest of the isolates I’ve looked at. The price is reasonable for a high percentage, high Leucine WPI. I wish they would post their amino acid profile here, so people could quickly compare this to other WPIs out there. You can go to their website to see the amino acid profile. For my use, I mix this with unflavored soy milk (no lactose sugar in soy), flavored Enhanced Electrolyte Powder, 5g/serving Creatine Monohydrate. I drink half just before my workout, then the other half right after. Based on my research, I feel this gives the muscles the fuel/food for the workout, then post workout, again provides the nutrients for muscle repair. I hope this helps you wade through all the protein supplements out there.
