I like to carefully choose products. My job allows me to do some research, and it provides me the resources to do it fairly efficiently.
One of these softgels has more potency than some other products on the market. I like to take one in the morning and one later on. They taste fine, and I noticed no fishy aftertaste or fish burps. That’s all listed on the product page; I just wanted to verify. I was pleased they weren’t exaggerating, as far as I can tell.
Of course it takes 3 softgels to reach the specified amounts of fish oils, but fish oil caps and softgels can get quite large fairly quickly. It also allows those who wish to start at a lower level to see how their system reacts to more easily choose how much to take.
This is much more pleasant and convenient than taking a spoonful of bottled cod liver oil, and there’s no worry about overdosing on vitamin A with this product.

I’m happy with this Triple Strength Omega 3 fish oil supplement. The capsules are pretty large, and some may want to skip this product if you have issues swallowing. I have a throat that is sometimes reacts to a moderate anaphylactic reaction. I prefer small slippery capsules, or coated tablets. These are okay, swallowed one at a time, with plenty of water.
The quality seems good and so far I have not noticed any fishy scent or burping. Nothing uncomfortable. The cat likes it, I cut the cap and squeeze it on his sprats, sardines. It’s a little boost to the already decent source of omega 3 he gets from the fish. Sometimes I put it on turkey. I’m still learning about that, since this is the first time I have felt the urge to use supplements for the cat. he is picky and if he thinks it smells good enough to eat, I trust him. No, he is not a canary, he has some issues and I’m figuring him out, he just happened to be really interested in these capsules.
I feel confident in continuing to take these oil capsules.

For me personally, I didn’t have any major health problems I was trying to solve before taking this supplement. I’m relatively young for heart problems, so of course I wouldn’t see a huge improvement in my heart health if I wasn’t having issues to begin with. My major reason for taking these was to get more fatty acids in my diet and taking pills with exactly what I need is the way I do it.
Another thing I am keeping in mind is that I RARELY feel the difference in my body when I take supplements, which I discovered was due to my poor absorption. So to be clear, this fish oil may be very effective itself, it’s just that my own system has trouble taking in nutrients. I’m working on that with a doctor and I’m feeling better in general, so I’m sure the newer supplements I’m taking are helping me now! My doctor wanted me to keep taking fish oil, so it must be important to balance out my diet. I only take one per day, as my doctor prescribed. I have been taking this fish oil for about a year.
As advertised, I really don’t get a fishy aftertaste. If you feel like taking a big whiff of the bottle, yeah you’ll smell it, but I don’t taste that in my mouth. I don’t notice a lemon flavor like it says – it’s pretty much tasteless. The pill itself is pretty large, which is harder for me since I have trouble swallowing pills in general. But if I take it only once a day, it’s worth it. I also don’t burp from this!! Which is insane because I burp up way too many things I consume.
I gave it 5 stars because I do really need this in my diet and it seems to be doing the trick. All of my issues of absorbing it, or swallowing it, are just me personally so I didn’t want to take a star off for that. Plus my health was not in a dire state before, so there wouldn’t be a significant difference for me. I feel my health improved in general.
