I’ve tried about everything out there. Working in extreme environments, hot and cold. With little to no humidity, my lips crack badly. To the point they bleed. I’ve used O’Keeffe’s working hands for years. So when I saw they had a lip balm I had to try it.. it works wonders, no more cracked bleeding lips from working in temperatures from -50f / 110f

I chose this brand over the many others about a year ago, I found it far superior to the rest, especially the expensive Burts Bees that I ended up throwing in the trash. This product has one flaw that I will discuss and another quirk that almost caused me to rate it as unacceptable but instead I will give you a couple of tips to be sure you are not inviting trouble.
WHAT I LIKE
Other than the fact that the product itself works better than the others I like the oval shape of the tube, it makes so much more sense for me to it in his front pocket.
WHAT I DON’T LIKE
The mechanism they use to push the balm up isn’t as good as the ones that use a round tube and I don’t know if that is just physics or what but when I get about a half inch from the bottom the remaining chunk always falls out to the ground, making it unsanitary so I have to throw the rest of the tube away. I don’t know if they do that on purpose or what but it’s frustrating.
THIS BATCH
This is the first time I’ve ordered this combination of two tubes of cooling and two tubes of unscented. It was the lowest cost per ounce of any of the choices on the page. I expected it to come in a blister pack of four but nope, what I got is the four tubes just tossed into a plastic wrapper which was closed but it almost caused me to send it back. I didn’t but I have two hints of advice for you
1. Always check the seal on each tube and be sure it is completely intact. If not, don’t accept it
2. Take a cotton swab and clean the area where the cap meets the tube, that’s the part that will be close to your lips when you apply it.
YES NO MAYBE
Rating something like this isn’t easy, what I like you may not. And others may not be as turned off to the way these tubes weren’t sealed. A product is supposed to be perfect to earn five stars and obviously I can’t consider this perfect. Let’s just say I will continue to buy this brand, but will do a better job of looking for ones that are blister packed.

I am 69 years old, for the last 12 to 14 years for whatever reason I’ve had to use lip balm day and night. I used the typical lip bombs you would find in the Pharmacy area of store. I found myself constantly reapplying that bomb over and over through the day and evenings. it was a real pain in the behind. I read about this product and purchased. Incredibly happy as it takes care of my dry lips without having to constantly reapply it as I would’ve had to have done with the store lip bombs. 100% happy with this product!

This is the only stuff I use and it really does last for hours. I like the peppermint and original the same. Stock up because you can’t find it in stores and if your significant other, kids, sister, dog or best friend get ahold of it, you’ll never get it back!
