I hate that I spent so much on these. I thought this would be great, like an insulated cup or something, not even close. The first time I used it, my Burts bees smooshed all over my lips because it was melted. They say to put it under your seat, but that honestly doesn’t help much at all. Also also, if I put it under my seat it’s going to be rolling all over the car. Also also also then your lip balm is melted on the side of the container, then you have to melt it again to get it upright again. At first I noticed how heavy it was and was like if it works it will be worth it. It adds bulk and weight to do nothing. I live in Colorado by the way. Two thumbs down.

While this is adorable to hold your chapstick/lip balm, it only holds conventional sizes. I live at the beach and could only use it for one size lip sunscreen. If it was a little wider you could hold other kinds. Works great for carrying and not falling out but the actual balm is still pretty
mushy but not melted. Recommended for key chains and carrying not in hot spaces like the pool or beach in summer.

These things are dense! You can feel how heavy they are. So far I’ve had no issues and it seems like a quality product. It does say that it may not protect your chapstick if you leave it in a hot car for long periods of time, but Ive had mine in some warm summer conditions and it hasn’t faulted.

I loved this product. I can now leave chapstick and my healing balm stick (that I make myself and pour into chapstick tubes) in my car all summer long. Nothing melted or even softened enough to shift in the tubes. I’ll be getting more for my mom.

I have a problem with lip balms. They either end up melting, going through the washer, or getting randomly “turned up” in my pocket until they mush into the cap and make a mess.
This should take care of all three problems. First off, it’s a slightly larger container than a lip balm meaning it’s less likely to get left in a pocket while my pants are going through the washer, second, it is insulated, preventing melting, and third, there’s. no way that the end gets accidentally turned to extend the balm into the lid. It’s a triple win.The Earth colors are nice: The green is a very nice “Kelly” green, the blue is a nice shade of blue, and the wood/black is just classy.
They seem to work as intended, and I’m pleased, since the prevention of extrusion of the lip balm was my primary issue and these solve the problem.
