This is basically like any other lip gloss. I think it’s dumb that it says it’s a lip treatment and all it is, is some average lip gloss. Might as well save yourself some money and get $2 chapstick.

The Moon Brighter Smile Lip Treatment sounds really cool, and I love the way the tube of gloss looks. But, the gloss itself was disappointing. It is much more subtle than the listing photos, which make it look almost frosted. And, I have some concern about the ingredients (see photo).
You can see how shiny and blue it looks in the tube, but on the lips it has just a slight shimmer and blue cast. It doesn’t look much different than regular gloss to me, and I don’t notice a whitening effect. I like blue-based red lipsticks, but I just don’t think there is enough blue in this.
It has a nice light minty smell and feel. Unfortunately, the ingredients behind this are fragrance, linalool, limonene, mentha piperita, and benzyl benzoate — all of which can irritate skin. Although this feels moisturizing while it is on, I won’t wear it often or get it again because I have sensitive lips that get dry easily. If you want to repair chapped lips like the description claims, products with fragrance and irritants are not the best bet.

It’s a pretty, sheer lip gloss with an iridescent shimmer. I do not think it made my teeth appear whiter and neither did anyone else. It’s a pretty lip gloss though and I like the iridescent shimmer.

This isn’t my first Moon Oral Care product, I actually own and use quite a few of their items. This product is basically a lip balm/gloss, but I definitely like that it slightly helps with making my teeth appear whiter. It uses the “light reflecting mica to cancel out yellow in teeth”. That definitely helps with the illusion but of course you’ll also need to clean your teeth and try to keep it as white as you can. It isn’t going to help much if you have really yellow, stained teeth. I did notice a slight difference and this is something I would use as a supplementing product along with products that actually whiten and clean your teeth (eg: the other Moon oral care products).
This product is moisturizing on my lips. It has a minty fresh smell but I’m glad they didn’t overdo it and make it super minty. It has a slight sweet taste to it when you lick your lips, which I thought was stevia but I didn’t see that on the ingredients list. There is also a slight cooling sensation, and again, I’m glad they did not over do it to where it stings. I think they made this with the perfect amount of minty fresh smell and cooling sensation. The past few days my lips have been feeling a bit weird where it has this dry feeling, especially around the edges of my lips. I don’t know if it is because I haven’t been drinking enough water due to stress and a busy schedule but this lip balm really helped my lips feel a lot better. I used another lip balm and that didn’t help as much as this one did. Although this is a brighter smile lip balm I ended up using it for my dry, irritated lips, and it works great! I am honestly pleasantly surprised by this and I think I’ve already used up half a tube in just a few short days since I got this.
My only slight complaint is the ingredients list on the box packaging does not match what they have listed on their website. I don’t know if the version listed on the box is the correct one or the website is. I am going to post both on here. The one below is from their page, I will upload a photo of the one listed on their box packaging. You’ll notice they are completely different!

This is definitely a different kind of lip product. It is definitely a big departure from the natural products I usually use. Instead, it has a very pronounced minty flavor that makes me feel like I have leftover toothpaste stuck on my lips after my morning brushing. I’m not really sold on the teeth whitening – it mostly seemed to make my lips look washed out. It feels nice and looks shiny, so if that’s your thing the. You might like it. It was a little much for me.
