I bought this for travel, but immediately began using it at home. I’m too lazy to regularly fill those containers that hold daily doses of all your meds, so I thought I would try this instead, and it’s perfect for my use. It holds up to 8 different meds and comes with sticky labels so you can identify which med is in which compartment, and for small pills you can fit up to 3 month’s worth at one time. The closures are very secure, and the size is surprisingly small for what it holds – about 4” x 6” x 1.5” total. Not only does it save space, but it’s so much easier than having to open as many as 8 different pill bottles each day. I love it.

I travel 5 days a week. I’d always worried about my pharmacy basic pill containers popping open in my suitcase. Not only is this secure, it is compact so is perfect for packing. The only drawback is the little doors have to be held open when filling it. So, I fill my cheap pill case, then dump each day into a container of this pill case. It’s an easy workaround for this terrific product.

I bought this to take on a 3 week trip. This unit is very compact for what it holds and does not take up much room in a carry-on. Plastic is sturdy and lightweight. It is very easy to open and compartments are very easy to access. This unit is much easier to load than individual pill bags. The 8 compartments are a generous size, and I had no problem putting 3 weeks worth of medication and supplements to fit. Would be equally good for just everyday pill sorting at home, and you could certainly use it to store other small items like earrings, mending kit items, pins, screws, etc.

TL;DR: This is a large, solidly built pill organizer. In my time of having daily maintenance meds this is my favorite pill case. Not for light travel though.
For a bit under 2 decades I’ve had to take daily medications. As time progressed so did the number of pills I had to take. I’ve found it best to use a pill organizer with each pill in its on compartment as this is both the easiest to manage and most convenient for me. For most of this time I’ve been using 4 compartment clamshell type pill organizers that could hold a week’s worth of my largest pill in one compartment. As time went on I had to add a second case, which was a 6 compartment model with 2 larger compartments and 4 small ones I put a few Tylenol, Pepto, Tums, etc in. Then I needed more space and I had move to 2 four compartment cases and a smaller one for Tums and stuff. My last 4 compartment case broke and I sadly discovered they no longer make them.
So I’ve purchased 6 different types of pill cases across Amazon and Taobao. This is by far my favorite. Let me say up front I have not tested the water proof/moisture resistance of this unit. I do not think this is a useful feature as none of my prior pill cases had this feature and I’ve never had a problem in almost 20 years and I spend a lot of time on the beach.
Let’s start with the negatives as this is short. First this is probably bigger, and definitely heavier, than you imagine from looking at the pictures. So if you are looking for a travel pill case, while this can travel no problem, its going to take up significant space and weight in your carry on. Personally I would only take it on trips of 1 month or more (or if I had a heavy daily maintenance requirement).
The compartment door latches are stiff, which is a positive for everyone with standard manual movement, but for arthritis sufferers the stiff doors could be an issue.
On the positive side is, well, everything else. This feels well-made and is solid plastic. The hinge is all plastic, unfortunately, but it does seem like it will last longer than other plastic pill organizers. It holds more than 17 days of my largest pills and it can hold 14 Tums in the front narrow compartment. The compartment doors take label maker stickers fine and hold very well, there is no danger of the doors opening on their own and dumping pills once its closed. The pill case closure is a very solid clamp style closure. All good things if you wish to travel with this. Its attractive, feels really nice and you can see the pills inside the containers when the whole thing is closed.
In short, if you are looking for a large, good quality pill organizer for 8 or less pills then this is it. If you are looking for a compact travel pill box for a small number of pills, then look elsewhere but keep this in mind for your home use!

This is sturdy. Compartments are a great size. Those with multiple rxs will love the size and convenience. Unlike others I’ve had before the inner compartments snap well and don’t randomly open. It has survived two years with international travel, in the bottoms of a book bag on campus, regular bag for everyday. It’s not bulky or cumbersome.
