I am in love with this travel case! First of all, the size is great. It is slim and super compact. The ice pack is just the right size and there are two compartments for pens. I have a diabetic cat, and this will be perfect to have available should be ever lose power. I also use a different medical pen that requires refrigeration, so this will get double use for when I am traveling. The purple color is really really nice. Very happy with this case. I do wonder why it displays “Medica” case when all else inside says “Medical” which is how it shows in the pic. I had not noticed this when I ordered and it really is not significant, but it really is exactly as described, lol. Excellent quality and a great value.

I should have read the reviews before purchasing this item. I wish I had. I wanted this for a festival I was going to be outside all day and needed protection from the heat for my insulin. I wanted something that looked legit and not sketchy but this derby misspelled item is what I received twice instead. (Yeah I ordered a replacement item without reading reviews also cuz apparently I was in too much of a hurry.) So now both Medica cases are going back, in the hopes that I can find something suitable without errors, that aren’t being falsely advertised.

I never had a case to carry my meds and used a ziplock bag to hold them while I was traveling. I like that the case is in my favorite color and has components to hold my medicine pens. I like that it comes with an ice pack to keep my medicine cool until I get to where I can put it in the fridge. I also like that it came with a luggage tag to identify my case hold medicine and inform others in case I’m unable to.

This bag is nicely made, has spaces for pens and needles, and fits nicely in a travel bag. I can easily fit two pens or one and a dose of Trulicity. (The Trulicity is a snug, but reasonable fit.)
The ice pack works reasonably well. It’s a nice addition if you are concerned about your insulin overheating in a hot car, backpack, or other unairconditioned situation.
I am happy with it as a travel option.

As another reviewer mentioned, the Medica logo is on the back of this instead of the front, which is weird. It’s a nice little case but unfortunately doesn’t have quite as much space in it as I need.

My daughter needed something to store her shot in that would keep it cold. It worked great for travel. The pack stayed cold and wasn’t too bulky

First things first—I will not use this for insulin! I am using it for another medication that can survive for up to 3 weeks without refrigeration. I wanted this case to keep my pen cool through an international flight, until I could get to a hotel. Ive also used it to drive two hours to a friend’s house. For those uses, it works great. It keeps a chill on my pen and gives me a safe way to carry it. There’s a little padding, the pen fits well, and it’s compact.
For other uses, for a diabetic, you may need a larger gel pack, or another, to keep medication very cold.
