About the exact length of a new 10 cent US dime & very easy to swallow with water due to the soft gel. I’ve enjoyed 5-htp over the past 8yrs & I’ve found the perfect supplement in this MicroIngredients brand. I it says to take 2 daily but I take 2 in the morning & 2 at night the first week then switch over to 2 a day. Definitely worth the try if you’re a 5-htp consumer like myself, plus you get a free bottle/bag with your first purchase providing a lot of serotonin help for those like me who need it.

We buy Micro Ingredients products often, they have good quality supplements however with the 5-HTP 200mg w/ Chamomile Flower Extract I experienced some side effects, including heartburn, stomach pain, and nausea. For now, I stopped taking it but please note that you cannot return these supplements. Just leaving an honest review so buyer beware.

For the price and the quality, I haven’t found a better source for my 5HTP needs. This really helps with my mood in the morning. It also contains 200mg of Chamomile on top of it which is a nice plus.

I love every supplement I have tried from this company I have been using them for about a year now and have made the switch with every supplement to them that I can. I like there packaging, and as always the product is always great and haven’t ever had any issues with it. No side effects or weird flavors, I suggested them to some friends as well.. I’ve been ordering these for a while now, my daughter and I both use them. They used to come in a one dose softgel, so it lasted an incredibly long time. They’ve switched to capsules now and you have to take 2 to get what you were originally getting from 1. There’s also nothing on the package indicating”new look, same product”, etc. So I’m left wondering if they sent me the wrong thing, but I digress. Oddly, I need to take 3 now for the result of their original, so I’m bummed about that too. So the original lasted me 180 days, and because of the change this one will last 30. I’m not sure I’ll order again
