Works great for when my son is sick. I do double up with this and the traditional medications since this does not have medicine in it. Great way to add an extra boost in smoothies. Down side is my kid hates the taste which is weird because he loves the taste of conventional medicine. It tastes like cinnamon and oranges to me 🤷🏻♀️

We bought this along with a few other cough medicines when our kids had a horrible cough. We liked this because of the natural ingredients and tried it out. It of course didn’t get rid of the cough but it definitely alleviated it. Now its one of the staples in our medicine cabinet. I will say the only down side, is the taste isnt the greatest. But when you are coughing up a storm, taste is the last thing you care about.

We love it. It doesn’t cure the cough but definitely helps make it less. And the taste is horrible but I think kid’s medicine should taste bad so they don’t try to get into it. But it’s a good lesson to teach your children that sometimes we have to do hard things like take medicine that doesn’t taste well.

So my little has been using zarbees since she was an infant (she’s three now; almost four). She has reactive airway disease and often is inflicted with a bad cough especially around spring and summer time. Zarbees was fine and worked well but Maty’s has several ingredients that improve overall health that zarbees does not have.
I will say my little prefers the taste of Zarbees. I imagine it is the ginger and clove that she is not a fan of, but she will still drink it. It works super fast and well as an expectorant. She immediately starts coughing up the gunk in her throat after taking it and the honey soothes. Just a great natural product that I love and trust.
My only complaint is that if you don’t wipe the top bottle off after pouring some out it will drip even after you put the lid back on. And I worry that when we travel the lid will not stay secure. We have traveled with it in the past on a road trip and it was a pain. My suggestion to the company would be to please make the lid a child safety lock and make the top not as wide.

This cough syrup if probably my favorite of all the natural ones we have tried. It helps get rid of that tickle for awhile. Kids love the taste too, me not so much but I will take it if it helps!

My daughter is not a fan of the taste. It’s a bit gritty, but I have tasted worse. Smells good. Seems to kinda work.

Absolutely love this product! Nothing has worked for my 18 month old like Matys Organic Childrens Cough Syrup! I have tried everything on the market and this is the only product that has successfully worked on my daughter to give her a restful nights sleep! Others wear off within the first hour of laying down, which leads to a very tired night for both of us! My daughter enjoys the taste and will happily take her Matys in a sippy cup of water! Never do I have to worry about strategically measuring each dose and only being able to give so much. Matys is all natural, nothing in the bottle to hurt your little one and will safely and effectively work to knock that stubborn mucous out!

The odor of this is foul !! The taste makes me wanna spit it out, my granddaughter will never trust me again for cough syrup !!! Total waste of my money !!!
