I get the idea of a scrub but had never done one before. I like that the ingredients for this scrub are short, clean, and you know what each one is and what it is for. The option for scents is great too.
Maybe my lips just weren’t dry enough…or I just have sensitive lips but it wasn’t super enjoyable for me. The scent was great and the raw sugar helps because inevitably you will get some in your mouth on accident. Maybe if there was an option for smaller grit because my lips just felt like they were being rubbed of all the layers, non dry ones as well. You only need a small amount for this to be effective, I used literally 1/4 teaspoon and was able to work on both my lips.
I’m sure this works great for those who have more ‘seasoned’ lips than mine. It did scrub, and it did smell exactly like creamsicle, and it was sweet to taste…but my lips were quite tender after use. I won’t fault the product since I probably could have waited until my lips were drier or possibly used even less.

I have used sugar scrubs, including sugar lip scrubs, for several years now. I was excited to get this product to try.
What I liked:
* Came in a cute little jar
* 2 Oz of product is more generous than what I have purchased before
* Goes on easily
* Does an adequate job of removing the dead skin
Cons:
* The smell left something to be desired for me
* After using the scrub, my lips felt greasy
* Definitely not edible

I tried this out this morning, the first thing I noticed was the smell. It had this funky under smell, which made me nauseous. I used a small amount as described on the label. I did get a very small amount in my mouth and wish I had not. It is NOT edible and the taste was not good. After scrubbing, my lips felt greasy and I ended up wiping them several times to get the greasy feeling to go away. For me, unfortunately not a good product.

My favorite thing about this lip scrub is the smell!!! It’s so light and sweet and yummy smelling! The sugar scrub works well to remove my dead skin and hydrate my lips. It contains a lot of natural ingredients. Great product!

I’ve never considered using a lip scrub, but I definitely have opinions about this now~ I love it! Texture is so beneficial and it’s not too rough. Literally melts off within a few seconds. The taste is delicious and scent is fun and delightful.
Lips are soft and lipsticks go on way easier and smooth.

I use this once or twice a week as a scrub on my lips. I use a wet washcloth to gently wipe it off after I’m done and then I follow with my normal lip balm. It makes my lips nice and soft and gets rid of any dry flaky patches.I don’t have any problems with it.I would recommend it

I haven’t used a lip scrub in a while. Summer’s winding down and cold weather is around the corner. It’s time to give our lips a little extra TLC. I really like this Lipalene scrub. It’s all natural and works very well. I only need to use a tiny amount. I simply rub it into my lips with my finger. I then rinse and follow up with a swipe of lip balm. This gently removes dead skin and leaves a moisturizing fiilm on my lips, so they’re really smooth.
I would never have thought to use a scrub on my cuticles. The description stated that this was also for cuticles, so I gave it a try. The results weren’t dramatic, but m the skin around my nails was smoother and my nails felt more hydrated. From now on I’ll scrub my cuticles every time I scrub my lips. I’s a good product and comes in a generous 2 ounce tub.
Intrigued and Intriguing –
I chose the coconut berry Lipalene HoneyLuxe lip and cuticle scrub because the idea of a lip scrub intrigued me. The title tells me I can use this on my cuticles and maybe if I have too much on my lips, like hand lotion when you use it on your arms to finish with what you have on your hands……..then I would use it on my cuticles. Otherwise there is no way I would use this totally yummy lip scrub on anything except my lips. I had no idea what to expect with coconut berry and I am still struggling to describe it but it is awesome…taking into account I do love coconut and most berries. Maybe like a pina colada with a splash of strawberry daiquiri. And my lips feel so much smoother after using this! The price at the time of this review is $9.99. I initially thought this price was quite high but I have never used anything like this lip sugar scrub and I really like it. Based on my thoughts above, my rating is 5 Stars.

I love using this product because it has such simple ingredients. It is a little drier than I thought it would be but overall I am happy with how this product exfoliates my skin. It is sugar based and it’s super sweet, so I try not to use it late at night after I bush my teeth. It smells great though!
