I’ve had acne my entire life post puberty and am now 27. (bad luck with genetics) I’ve gone through multiple different regimens when going through the high school years and even had to take accutane at one point. My acne was always a roller coaster, some days were decent and some were dreadful. But i never had completely clear skin. There always seemed to be something that would come to surface in the morning in one of the many hot spots that I seemed to have and this has continued all the way till now. I decided to try exposed because of the good reviews and looking at the % of the benzyl peroxide and Salicylic acid, it was considerably lower than what you’d find at a store. My skin has always been super sensitive due to the war with acne thus far.
The product comes with instructions, what to expect, and some basic tips and tricks to help you along the way. I tried to make a point of being very consistent and I attribute most of the success to that. None of the products burn or feel like they’re irritating my skin. Although the instructions for the toner said to apply with your fingers although it has the consistency of water which just wasn’t going to work. I’d recommend just using a cotton ball to apply this. My skin started off still having flare ups but that only lasted around 2 weeks and then the flare ups stopped and only had a whitehead or 2 after that. My face continued to get better and some of the redness started to fade. I couldn’t believe it because I’ve used a lot of different products but this is the first one of my adult life to actually calm my skin. My skin is not completely cleared as i have a decent amount of minor scarring from the past that i don’t know if will ever go away. But is been a little over a month and I’m extremely happy with the progress so far. My skin has always been a source of anxiety for me and I’m enjoying the relief after all this time. Highly recommend !

All I have to say is that “Exposed Acne Treatment” is the solution ! It COMPLETELY solved my acne problem. They say when you reach 40, you are your own best doctor. So, just before I found Exposed, I experimented cutting out various foods that I thought provoked acne. Guess what ? Me quitting raw (uncooked) milk was my main culprit because within a week or two, many blemishes on my back (and some on my face) disappeared. Somehow cooked foods with milk in them don’t seem to bother me as bad, but that’s research I may not complete for a while. The point is, the succinct literature that Exposed sends you with their basic kit ADVISES you to lay off milk ! That has flied in the face of most of my dermatology advice (and books), but Exposed is obviously on the ball. And also guess what ? Recently, dermatology “experts” are now linking acne with milk. Go figure.
So, did quitting milk do it alone ? No, because that acne had been around for almost 30 years and obviously had a stronghold. Hang in there, because in less than one month, the super-easy morning and evening steps gave me clear skin. And what’s so nice about all this is the natural ingredients they use. I have a somewhat sensitive face, but never been dried out by their product. It’s a God-send. It works, is easy, and I’ve had absolutely no side-affects.
No one is paying me to say this, BTW. I’m just so happy I found something that works wonderfully.
Bottom line: Buy it now, and have GREAT EXPECTATIONS !

I’ll keep this short and to the point. Like many of you, I feel like I’ve tried everything out there to no avail (proactive included). I have normal to oily skin with lots of small pimples everywhere, which I’ve had for a decade now annoyingly. I started using Exposed about 100 days ago, which is about when some of the product started running out.
Here’s a URL to an actual progress photo of me: http://www.imagebam.com/image/a98435349098644
As you can see, not super dramatic of a difference, but after 100 days, I mainly just have pigmented scars remaining which are much easier to cover with makeup! They warn you on the product that your acne may get worse at first, and boy it did for me. For the first month I developed huge, hard, disgusting zits, but with following their advice (not picking at them, changing pillow cases often, consuming less sugar, and drinking more water) as well as cleaning my makeup brushes more often and using hand sanitizer before applying makeup, they went away relatively quickly.
I’m now going to review each individual product in the basic kit. Not how well each works but just to describe them if you’re looking to purchase for the first time. Some of the reviewers on here kind of make me laugh when they point out which product works the best. This is an acne system, and being a biology major, I know that everything you use in/on your body affects things in complex ways. The only way you would find out which of products in this system you don’t need, is to eliminate everything but that product for a number of months.
Facial Cleanser:
Feels light and clean, doesn’t stink or get everywhere and suds up nicely. If you get pretty oily like me by the end of the day, I recommend using a makeup remover wipe before using this product just because it doesn’t strip your skin of moisture like some cleansers do.
Clearing Tonic:
I would like to have a conversation with whoever decided to put this product in that bottle! This product is super thin, just like water except when it dries it leaves behind crystals. The bottle that they put it in causes it to leak out under the lid and it is too hard to control how much comes out so a lot ends up being wasted which is annoying when you’re not loaded$. I recommend transferring this into like an old contact liquid bottle or just something with a tight lid and small opening to control the flow. This is the product that ran out first for me…hmm I wonder why grrr.
Acne Treatment Serum:
No complaints really. I’ve tried benzoyl peroxide products before and idk if it’s because this has micronized bp that is able to penetrate better and kill acne causing bacteria but it seems to play a big role in the process, especially since they say you can use it two times a day if you like. But be fore-warned, if you use it at night, it will bleach your pillowcase. Also, I experienced no over-drying from this product but those with dry-normal skin should use a moisturizer.
Clear Pore Serum:
At first I didn’t like the smell of this because of the licorice root, but it was bearable until it dried and then after a couple months I got used to it and it stopped bothering me. This is a relatively thin and sticky product which I wasted many a time because I wasn’t controlling my squeezing pressure well on the tube. My advice: don’t squeeze very much, just let gravity help you out, or once again, put this in a different container.
I’d say this system did a relatively good job and cleared up about 75% of my acne. I think it works so well because it combines all the known ingredients that fight acne into one system (besides hormones which I don’t recommend). Next time I’ll try the expensive ultimate pack and see if I can get it closer to 100% clear. Hope this review helped some of you who were on the fence of whether to buy.
