I love Dermalogica! I mostly use K-beauty as I have very sensitive skin and have found my skin reacting least to their products. Dermalogica is an exception though. I’ve never had a poor experience. I already regularly use (and ADORE) the micro exfoliant 3-4x a week, so I LOVE that I have a smaller one for travel. It’s gentle, yet exfoliating, and lasts forever! I wouldn’t describe my skin as problematic, except for the sebum on my nose. Ugh. I like to mix the powder with just a bit of (this one was nice, refreshing scent, no reaction) face wash for a less abrasive/more cleansing experience. I follow with toner, serum, oil, and face cream. My skin is very dry so I need all the hydration…besides my nose! This is my first time trying the serum and I like it very much. Didn’t cause any adverse reaction, absorbed well, and tho I hate scented product, it’s a light citrusy scent, not at all overwhelming. Love them all, but it’s quite a pricey brand. My star will always be the phenomenal exfoliant and that’s the only one I will, and can afford, to keep using. Quality ingredients, made in US, and cruelty-free. Perfect if you just wanna try the brand, for a gift, or travel. $49.50 at time of review. That’s fair. But, again, that exfoliant is perfect and very fairly priced on its own!

This is my first time trying Dermalogica’s products and I am pleasantly surprised by them. This kit is the perfect way to try this line without as much investment to see how your skin reacts to it, or for travel.
I absolutely love the cleanser and the microfoliant! The cleanser leaves me with a fresh, slightly tingly feeling. It feels like it cleans my skin and gets in the pores. And the microfoliant left my skin feeling soft and smooth. The serum was a bit strong for me, so I only use it sparingly, with one drop after toner, spread evenly around and only a few times per week.

The kit has a good amount of product in each bottle and they run out about the same time if they’re all used together and no wierd smells. Everything worked great on my sensitive skin. I definitely saw a improvement and less redness, amd it’s good at preventing new breakouts. Overall great value.

First, I wish there were better directions for using these products. There is good information provided on the ingredients and products, but the usage directions were very slim. Having a full accounting of the ingredients is awesome, and I appreciate that. I really liked the cleanser, but the exfoliant powder and the serum were a bit more difficult to figure out how to use them most effectively. The exfoliant says make it into a paste, but I am not sure what is the best way to do that or the amount to use. The serum I found sticky, so I’m not sure if I used to much or if that’s the way it goes on. A bit more on the instructional side would go a long way toward feeling that I knew how to use them and what to expect from them. I like the size offered here for travel, and for trying them out. Good products, but I need more directions for use!
