Upon receiving this set of skincare products, the look and presentation of the box is pretty nice with silk covering in the box with compartmentalized sections for each product. The box itself was sealed but only one of the products, the facial cleanser, had its own seal over the top. I had to use translator for some items while other bottles are labeled in English so I had an idea what they are for. The 3 tiny bottles of serum seem old as they are half empty along with the fact that when I tried to screw the bottles open, the dropper bulb portion was stuck to the bottle. The serums, toner/essence and cream are all unscented. The facial cream looked cakey, dried out a bit and some portions felt like gelatin but it smoothed onto my skin easily with nice hydration. I patch tested everything except the facial cleanser, which I used and found it to be cleansing, foamed up really well, but a bit drying to my skin which I suppose the toner and facial cream would counteract. All expiration dates are in 2026 but the texture and look of some of the products make me question if these were stored for awhile or not exactly in the best condition.

If you’re looking for an impressive but affordable ($38) gift, this may be it. You get a large box of several items in elaborate containers. The box is metallic red with magnetic doors and was sealed in plastic. There was minor damage to the box.
If you hadn’t already assumed, the products seem average at best though. If you’re not familiar with skincare routines or Chinese, you may be unsure what the products are and the proper way to use them. It would have been helpful if they included the 6th picture of the numbered and labeled steps in this case. The cleanser is pearlescent and lathers well. The larger essence (aka toner) and dropper bottle essences are watery. The remaining essence is a watery lotion, or creamy. The eye cream is a gel. The moisturizer’s texture is almost gelatin, but it applies fine. I didn’t try the BB cream yet. You’re applying the products in order of weight, which is why the eye cream falls between two essences. In the end, the results are…unremarkable. The products are very lightweight, add little brightness.
While I like to think there are long term benefits to using these products, I get the feeling they are watered down. I wouldn’t recommend this line for dry skin like mine. It’s not moisturizing enough. None of the products have strong or bad scents, so that’s a plus. Overall, it’s good for the price, but the set is more about quantity and presentation than quality and results.
