I really like the blue hard outer case to protect the meds inside. The digital thermometer on the outside is a nice touch to make it easy to monitor temps without opening the case like other similar products require. It is nice and compact so it stows easily. The workmanship is very good. I’m concerned that the two small ice packs that cool the unit are not as up to stuff as I’d like bringing it’s functionality into question.

The Insulin Cooler Travel Case has been a dependable solution for traveling with my temperature-sensitive meds. With its compact 8.5″x4.5″x3.5″ size and durable EVA exterior, this case fits easily into my bag and feels sturdy enough to handle frequent trips. The Fahrenheit temperature display makes it super convenient to check if everything is staying at the safe temp, which I appreciate.
The drawback is that the ice packs could be a bit larger, but they still do the job for about 3-5 hours. For extended trips, I would keep a couple of spares handy.
The interior has decent storage for pens, syringes, and other supplies, which makes organization easy and keeps everything where I need it.
For the quality and functionality, this travel case offers great value. It’s designed to last, and the insulation does a solid job. Perfect travel companion for anyone needing reliable medication cooling!

This is a great compact cooler to take your insulin in when traveling. I like the compartments that it has to be organized. It comes with two small ice packs. I have used it for small trips away from the home and it has worked well.

This is a great carrying case and the thermometer works. However, I do struggle to unzip and zip the case. I decided to use it for my insulin pen at home, too, so I am getting lots of practice with the zipper. I think a simple clasp might be better, it would certainly be quicker. The case is plenty large enough to hold a few pens, and enough needle heads for the pens and alcohol pads. Also am able to carry my daily medicine container in the case should I feel the need or if I will be out all day.
For the cost, it’s worth it. Need something for a day trip, it’s worth it and not overly big. I’d say about the size of a 6” sub sandwich. Plenty of room on the inside. Ice packs last about 7-8 hours.

I recently purchased this insulin cooler travel case for my father-in-law, who is diabetic and has been carrying his insulin in a plastic baggy with ice. This case has been a game-changer for him. First and foremost, it is TSA approved, which makes traveling through airports a breeze. No more hassles or worries about whether his insulin will be allowed through security.
The case itself is very solid and well-constructed, giving us confidence that it will protect the insulin from any bumps or drops. It also looks quite nice, which is a bonus. Inside, it includes two reusable ice packs that keep the insulin at the perfect temperature for extended periods. The storage space is ample, allowing him to carry all his necessary medication without any issues.
One downside is that the temperature display only reads in Celsius and not in Fahrenheit. If there is a way to change it, I would love to know how. This is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. However, it is still a great product if you are familiar with Celsius.
This case has truly been the perfect gift for my father-in-law. It has not only made his travels more convenient but also provided peace of mind knowing his insulin is stored safely and securely. For anyone looking for a reliable and stylish way to transport insulin, I highly recommend this cooler travel case.

Neat little insulin travel case and better than my last one that was made for pens and not vials. Also nice to have the temp display. The case itself is well made but the main zipper is a bit cantankerous and I’m worried it won’t hold up. As others have said, the temp display is in Celsius, which most of the world uses but not us. However, most medicine vials including insulin tell you the proper storage temp in F and C so should not be an issue once you know your target temp.
My number one concern is that the case is marketed for insulin but if you put both ice packs in the temp actually goes below the recommended storage temp for insulin which is 2 to 7deg Celsius. When I put the packs in the temp went down to -2.2degC. It was 30 minutes later before the temp increased to 2deg. 2 hours after that it was at 5deg and by 4-1/2 hours after the safe range was achieved the temp was at 7deg. So if you plan to use it for insulin, be aware that you need to wait a bit before putting the insulin in the case and you will have about 4-1/2 hours at the recommended storage temp.

If you are it someone close to you is a diabetic or uses other vital medications that need ty be kept cool, this is a great way to ensure that those medications keep at optimum temperature either while traveling or in the case of power outages. Yes the temp display will be in Celsius but you can simply write a little note to remind you what the ideal temp range is so you’ll know. The case itself is a durable molded plastic, it’s nicely sized and the bright blue color I got makes it very easy to see and not overlook. Pricing is very affordable and considering the cost of meds nowadays, it’s worth taking every precaution.
Customer Review –
This is the only insulin cooler I’ve ever used, so I have nothing with which to compare it, but having said that I’d only call it “fair.” It is sort of clunky – seems like it could’ve been made more compact. Measurements with the case zipped up are about 8″ x 4.5″ x 3.25″. The pouch intended to be used for the insulin is insulated from the ice pack compartments, which is the opposite of what you really want. The temperature display reads out in Celsius, and appears to have no way to switch it to Fahrenheit. The temperature display is not securely installed in the lid of the case, and kept working its way out of place. It worked well enough for the one trip on which I used it, but I likely will look for a better one.
