I placed a thermometer inside and let it work its magic. I opened it at least 10 times over the course of several hours to see if the temp had reached to the set temp. It never did. The lowest it’ll realistic hold a temp is around 5 C. I tried setting it at 0 C, 3 C, 4 C. It just didn’t reach that low. I like that it comes with 2 batteries. So that you can have a spare. One battery can last around 2-3 hours depending on how low you set it. Be aware that the actual compartment for cooling is very small. I hope this is helpful.

So many motel rooms don’t have refrigerators, and those that do have Itty bitty freezers. Most don’t freeze the ice packs overnight. This tiny fridge is a great idea. My only complaint is that it only holds 4 insulin pens. I wish it held a couple more.
This only had the temperature in Celsius so I had to look up what the temperature should be for insulin pens in C. The Google says 2-8 degrees. So I made a label and stuck it on it so I’d remember. 😏
I’m glad i read the notice on the battery because it says if you aren’t going to use it for more than a week you should unplug it so it doesn’t overcharge. And you get a bonus battery pack too! Very nice!
I charged it up to see how long it lasted and it ran for about 3.5 – 4 hours on one charge. So with both batteries it will last for a long car ride. But it comes with 2 charger cords. 1 for an electrical outlet, the other has a usb outlet. That is nice so you can also plug it in in the car.
The case is nice for carrying. I like that it has mesh where the exhaust blows out and pulls air in. You can keep it in the case even when it’s running. My only complaint about the case is there is nowhere to put the extra battery out charger cords so you’ll need to find something to keep those things in. That just seems silly not to make a place to keep those things too.
