This is a very compact and well built travel case. It is listed as TSA approved. The liner is waterproof, and the entire inner surface of the case is lined and insulated with aluminum. The case is built around a re-freezable ice brick, made of hard PCM, that can keep your medication cold for up to ten hours. We were impressed with how much storage space is available despite the large ice brick. In addition to the space in set into the ice brick itself, the entire other half compartment is available for storage of medical supplies. Built-in netting divides the storage compartment for easier organization. The case is hard shell, with some minimal flexing, offering excellent protection for your medications.

We bought this for traveling. It works absolutely as it should.
Only warning is to leave it out of your carry on while going through airport security. The freeze pack gets TSA attention at every airport we’ve been to causing delay.

This is a really great cooling insulin travel case. It’s extremely well designed and well made. It uses very good materials.
There’s a ton of room within this case. There are two netted storage areas for both your alcohol wipes and syringes, if you carry those, or the disposable needles for the insulin pens. This storage area is quite large.
The cooling block is really just like the artificial ice blocks you freeze then put in your regular drinks cooler… but it’s specifically shaped to accommodate an insulin pen.
Here’s the thing you need to be aware of: This is a LARGE unit, and it’s certainly much bigger than the old insulin kits (bottle of insulin, alcohol wipes, and a few syringes) that we used to carry. Those were closer in size to say, a glucose meter case. This is far larger.
I think that this is great for travel, but you need to consider the size before committing. It’s a really nice carrier, and even those who don’t use the insulin pen (but rather use syringers) could benefit.
It’s pretty big, though.

I’m newly diagnosed with diabetes so I didn’t even know of or thought of a little cooler for my insulin. Wish I new about it a couple months ago. Would have been great! This has kept my insulin safe temperature and ready for me now matter where I go. That’s important for all of us on insulin and a great concern during the summer. This will be great even in the winter, when everyone has their heaters on. Insulin is safe and secure. This has a secure closure so no worries it’ll pop open in your car or bag. Space for 2 pens. Little pocket for alcohol packets and whatnot. Really reliving knowing that I have this now.

We have a diabetic cat who now has to travel with us when we go to our lake place. It is only 1 hour 15 minutes away, but I had been putting his insulin and injection supplies in our food cooler to travel with it. Well given the cost of insulin, I was terrified to break the bottle or damage any of the injectors.
This handy little case allows me to travel with these supplies more secure and cooled as well.
Everything fits nicely into this case. The case is hard sided so quite structurally secure. The ice pack removes and can be stored in the freezer until it is needed.
Instead when I travel I can put this pack a bit more securely with our stuff when traveling.

Type 1 diabetic traveling to Jamaica and looking to keep my backup insulin cold for a full day of travel. This case was great (and didn’t take up too much room in my backpack.) Left the house at 3am and arrived at our suite at 6pm, insulin was still cold and good to go. Glad to have this around for the next trip. No idea on TSA as my bag was not checked.

Do not buy this if you need a waterproof case for your insulin! I think it is terrible that a company would claim that a medical item is something that it is not. If I used this, I’d lose my valuable medication that I need to survive!! I put this case in a bowl of regular tap water and 40 seconds later, it was full of water.
