This Wethm sleep enhancer wasn’t the easiest to get up and running, but once it did, it was actually pretty good and useful. First of all, the packaging could really use a link or QR code to the companion app. The only way for me to find it was to manually search for it in the app store. I then placed the band across my mattress and underneath the sheets as instructed, positioned the band between my chest and stomach, and sat the puck on my nightstand. Once the band and app were installed, I paired the band to the app/phone and the band was responding to the app. I thought I was good to go, but when I actually tried to use it the status light on the puck kept flashing and I noticed the strip had lost its pairing. I reset and repaired it the following night and it finally worked properly. I don’t feel the band when laying on it and I wonder how it senses so accurately, but it does.
The band is able to accurately detect when I am sleeping and also detects my sleep stages. The sleep stages, breathing, and oxygen tracking isn’t as accurate as my two wearables, but much closer than I expected for an external device with sheets and clothing between me and the band. It also doesn’t track HRV and other readiness factors. It also costs much less than my smart watch and ring, although there are decent brand smartwatches available at a similar price point. Overall, it’s not bad. However, the gentle wake feature is useless for me. The vibration is a little too gentle and soft for me to feel. I can hear and see the vibration if I try, but actual use does nothing to wake me. Otherwise, this is a decent sleep tracker with detailed results and good accuracy for the design.

This sleep tracker is just okay. Setting it up was a hassle—it took way longer than it should have, and the instructions weren’t very clear. The user interface is clunky and not intuitive, making it frustrating to navigate.
The biggest disappointment is the accuracy. When I compared it to my Apple Ultra Watch, the sleep data was consistently off, especially with tracking deep sleep and wake times. It’s hard to trust the results when they don’t match a device known for its reliability.
The only reason I’m giving it three stars is that it’s lightweight and comfortable. But overall, I expected much more. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for precise sleep tracking.

I’ve been using the Innovative Sleep Enhancer for a few weeks now. It’s okay for sleep tracking but not sleep quality. it gives a detailed breakdown of my sleep cycles, including how many times I wake up during the night. It was not too easy to set up but it was okay. Too much for the price in my opinion.

I’ve been having a lot of trouble sleeping recently. I was looking forward to maybe getting some more insight into the problem with this device. However, I don’t have the skill for complicated tech, though I have a smart phone and laptop that work for me.
I gave up on this. Too many problems and poor information on how to make it work.
If you are good with researching information on devices, linking to wifi and setup in general, it’s probably a good device. It just wasn’t good for me.

The device tracks your sleep patterns. It can tell you how long you slept, how often you woke up, and how much time you spent in different sleep stages. While setting it up can be a bit tricky, the information it provides can be really helpful. It can help you figure out the best bedtime for you and understand your sleep habits better. If you’re really interested in all the details of your sleep, this device is a good choice.

I don’t always sleep well, so the idea of a tool that might help enhance my sleep sounded promising. It’s a bit sad as this team appears to have put a lot of thought into the product, but so far, my experience has been a number of issues, challenges, and some basic disbelief at the state of the product.
Setup – This turned out to be a painful process. It looks like the developers created a nice app, but somehow the hardware/software (connecting to Android) focused on the happy-path, and not if something goes wrong. Connecting the first time was smooth and easy, then everything wanted to update. Coming back after the update…it wanted to…update again? Then lost the connection. Then made me reset. Then wouldn’t let me connect to the wifi network I had previously selected (fortunately I run a few, so I started stepping through them)…each time it would have a problem, it would remove that wifi from the list of available options. Lights didn’t blink in the patterns indicated they would be for various steps along the way. Yet somehow…still not sure how, it eventually announced that it was set up and connected.
Setup in the bed – This device has you lay a band across the bed, which is fine for monitoring. But, I cannot believe no one else has mentioned this, their belief that vibrations will help you fall asleep led to the installation of a square-shaped, sharp edged vibrating box (see picture) right in the middle of your back. So not only would I end up getting kicked out of the room were I to actually run the vibrations while trying to fall asleep, I can still feel where the little box stabbed into the middle of my back. If going this route, I’m pretty sure other industries have figured out how to cerate flat, soft vibrators that could be used instead of something with sharp edges.
So finally everything is set up…now to figure out how to use it. The main device has a pressable button in the center of it…but no idea what it does. Their marketing photos even show a woman reaching over to press it for…reasons? No instructions anywhere as everything is focused on trying to help you connect it to your wifi and phone. The most promising item hidden in the app (buried under ‘Settings’ and ‘How to use’ has a setup guide for everything above, and a ‘Sleep Enhancer in Lifestyle’ reads like a marketing pamphlet with zero information about what to actually do with the device now that you’ve wrangled it into being set up.
So in my experience, it was painful to set up, painful to lay on thanks to the pokey vibrator that I will never be able to use unless sleeping alone, and uncertainty about what it’s supposed to actually be trying to do beyond giving me ‘Personalized morning insights’ based on how well I did at sleeping…or something?
I think the idea has merit, and perhaps the technology is a starting point, but there are just too many obvious gaps that some basic user testing should have turned up. They obviously knew the app setup and connection was an issue given the various videos and walkthroughs to just get to that step, but a sleep product that is painful to sleep on seems like it should have been caught a bit earlier on in the design process.

This works ok for sleep tracking but I don’t think it helps much with sleep quality. The vibration alarm can help with waking you up to feel less groggy, but it will cause some vibration in the rest of the bed as well. It is a bit complicated if you aren’t very tech savvy also. Overall, the product is ok, but it doesn’t significantly improve any facet of my sleep/wake cycle.
