This is a lovely oil that feels thick, rich and leaves my skin soft and smooth. It smells wonderful, too. I didn’t buy it for a growing belly or for postpartum care (those days are decades behind me, now) but it seems perfect for anyone dealing with dry or itchy skin. I have several similar oils that I like using, but they are a bit light-weight and seem more suited for use in warm weather when my skin isn’t quite as dry. Like many people, my dry and dehydrated skin gets worse in the winter and this oil seems to be very rich without feeling too heavy so it is perfect to use right now. The ingredients seem tailor-made for the issues I have with my sensitive skin: I need something calming, that relieves itch and irritation, has anti-inflammatory properties and is very healing…
I have some dry patches on my upper legs that are cracking and while they are not painful, I know they will get larger if I don’t get it under control. This happens to me pretty much every year to a greater or lesser extent. Sometimes it is resolved quickly, other times not. Last year, it took weeks for them to heal. I also wanted to see if this oil would be effective on my lower legs where I have some persistent redness and inflammation from an long illness that I am slowly recovering from.
I barely have to wait anytime at all after applying this oil — it is absorbed almost immediately and my skin doesn’t look or feel oily. If I am using this as an all-over body oil post shower, I can get dressed right away without worrying about any oil getting on my clothes. If I am just applying it on my hands or legs, I can get back to whatever I was doing in just a couple of minutes. My skin feels so much nicer after using this; it is smoother and there is less irritation and redness, a decrease in the tight, pinched feeling I get and the dry flakiness is gone. My skin feels more resilient and softer. The dry patches are starting to look better, too. As promised, this oil also has a beautiful light fragrance which is a nice a little bonus. It is quite subtle but it seems to last quite a while and I am really enjoying it. This is a high-quality, well formulated oil and I think the current price of $28.00 (marked down from the regular cost of $35.00) is very reasonable for four ounces. It arrived nicely boxed and properly sealed. I wish I had found this oil a long time ago and I will definitely purchase it again. I would like a gallon of it!

We like the smell and and the quality of the product. It is easy to apply and very smooth. I cannot use this though. It irritates my skin. After 3 applications, the results have been the same. Something in the blend or the concentration of the something in the blend just doesn’t suit my skin. These products are hit and miss depending on your chemistry, so this may very well work for you. I sadly can’t use it.
Ratings are hard for this type of product. I do not doubt the product, but it did not work for me and my skin. 3 stars seems fair based on my personal experience.

On my fourth pregnancy and when I hit third trimester, my belly and sides and Csection scar were always itchy and dry (prob from wearing high belly leggings all the time) and I struggled to pay $35 for belly oil that I never considered in past pregnancies, but finally did and IM SO GLAD! It is the perfect moisture to take away itch and dryness, make my skin so soft and smooth, not greasy at all. Love the pump nozzle. Chose this over other oils because safe ingredients – EWG verified! Smell is fine.. don’t love it or hate it but it’s faint and temporary enough that it’s a nonissue.

I love this product. I can’t say if it helps with stretch marks but I can say that it makes me skin feel so smooth. I not only use it on my stomach but the rest of my body too. The smell is perfect, it smells like a spa. My morning sickness has been so bad that every smell irritates me, besides this. If you’re hesitating, don’t. Get it!

I was gifted this along with many other belly oils and balms and it was by far my favorite. It smells soooo good and was easier to apply than a balm and felt lighter. I applied it 1-2x daily to my boobs, belly, hips, and low back to prevent stretch marks during the end of my pregnancy and I didn’t get a single stretch mark! Still have half a bottle left so am using it as a moisturizer.

This is a great oil for all mama to be’s. I am actually using this postpartum, and it works like a “normal” moisturizing oil. I like to select products that are pregnancy safe because I know the product is super gentle and safe, and although I may not currently be pregnant, I know I am not exposed to anything not good for my skin. I also use this on my elbow, knees, and anywhere that feels dry. It is very moisturizing and helps to bring moisture to my dry patches. Although this is an oil, it didn’t leave my skin a greasy, oily mess – just make sure to really rub it into your skin. A little goes a long way!
I love the smell of this product. I saw the ingredients list and at first I was thinking this is going to smell really floral and like a bottle of rose oil, but it was not like that at all! It is a very light and gentle scent, a hint of roses and lavender, but the rose stands out to me the most. However, like I said, it isn’t an overwhelming rose scent. After I apply this on I can’t really smell the fragrance unless I put my skin close to my nose. The scent is important because some mama to be’s are especially sensitive to scents at this time, and those that experience nausea at this time may be triggered by a strong scent. I feel like the scent is gentle and light enough to where it won’t, however, that could vary person to person.
This has a pump style head and was easy to dispense. Most of my oils are dropper style applicators but I don’t mind this either.
Bottom line: I really like this oil and actually plan to get more of this once I run out. Great stuff, would recommend this for anyone regardless if you are pregnant or not.

What I really like about this body oil is a practicality of it. It comes in a dark brown glass bottle with the pump so once can control the amount being used. This oils is a mix of apricot oil, marshmallow roots, rosehips, lavender, chamomile, calendula and rose flower. Scent is very soft. Definitely geared towards women. I am not sure how much it will help with stretch marks, but it will definitely keep skin hydrated.
