I’ve been taking ambien for 9 months and it made me feel terrible. I was tired of feeling groggy, forgetful, and anxious about not being able to sleep without it, and I was severely addicted to it, which was a scary and unhealthy way to feel. I decided to try Deep Sleep. I’ve used it for two weeks and here are my observations:
1) I’m ready to throw away the ambien. I’ve still had some bad nights, but I’ve had enough good nights on this that I feel confident enough to sleep without a prescription.
2) It doesn’t always work, but even when it doesn’t work, I still feel relaxed. I’m not nearly as anxious as I used to be about being able to fall asleep.
3) When it does work, it works amazingly well. I get good sleep and I feel rejuvenated in the morning. While I was taking the ambien, I almost never remembered dreams. I’ve remembered my dreams every night since I started taking Deep Sleep. I’m also able to get back to sleep if I wake up in the middle of the night–something else I can’t say for ambien. And I don’t feel groggy the next day. The first couple days, I did feel a little drugged, though, so it’s best to try it on a weekend.
4) I’ve found that it works best to take it exactly as directed. I squirt a dropper full (about 30 drops) an hour before I’m ready to go to sleep, and exactly one hour later, I take the 2nd dose. If I don’t go to bed within 10 minutes of that 2nd dose, my chances of falling asleep seem to drop dramatically.
I wish it worked every time, but with chronic insomnia, I’m very happy that I can get a good night of sleep at all on occasion.

This tincture has helped me get some of the best sleep I’ve had in months. For me, it only works when taken according to the instructions on the bottle (one hour before bed and again at bedtime). I got lazy and tried to take a double dose right at bedtime, and I would wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to go back to sleep. When taken according to the instructions I typically sleep through the night. If I do wake up in the middle of the night, I’m able to fall back asleep relatively quickly. Good stuff!
