Descrição do Produto: Haemolance Plus Safety Lancet

This is a pricey item. You can find much cheaper, but for the additional price, you are getting the ultimate in convenience. For half the price, you can get 3 times as many regular lancets that ultimately accomplish the same thing. Ultimately, it’s up to the individual to determine if the price is justified by the benefits.
So, what are the unique features and benefits? These are more convenient to use because they are ready to go. There is no prep involved besides removing the protective cap which is trivial. One could argue that these are safer as you don’t have to ever handle an exposed needle. In fact, with these, you never even see the needle. These are disposable lancing devices which are already preloaded with needles.
These are time-savers since you don’t have to insert or remove lancets to the device.
These are easy to use. There’s no messing with them, you just twist off the plastic cap and it’s ready. You use it like you do any lancing device by pressing the tip against your skin and pressing a button to release the the needle which is spring loaded under pressure.
There are no adjustments available to vary how much tension is set on the spring mechanism like a typical lancing device has. This makes the device simpler to use, but removes any customization of the force used to inject the needle. I feel like this device injects at a medium force so it may be missing the availability of a lighter spring action which may be effective for some people with thinner, or softer skin. The potential of a lighter spring action is it might be less painful.
The smallest needle size available for this device is 28 gauge. I typically use a smaller needle, a 30 gauge. Again, like using less force to inject, the smaller needles hurt less. What all this means is that this device probably hurts a little more than my other adjustable lancing pen that uses 30 gauge needles. The difference in feeling is small and subjective and I’m guessing some people wouldn’t notice any difference in pain sensation.
The upside to using a 28 gage needle and a device that injects more forcefully, is that it may be more effective than using smaller needles injected with less force. The first thing that I noticed with this device is that the button takes a decent amount of force to release the needle. You have to press firmly to deliver the needle. The second thing, I noticed was that I felt it slightly more than my other device. But the best surprise was how effective it was. I got an immediate nice drop of blood. I think the force of delivery is an effective amount for most people.
If you want something that is effective, quick, and easy, and you don’t mind paying for convenience, then you’ll want to give this a try. Recommended for convenience & effectiveness .

The Haemolance Plus Micro Safety Lancets are a bit bulky for single-use, but they’re really handy and safe. You get 100 lancets in a pack, and they’re super easy to use—just press the button and you’re set. Each one has a fixed depth of 1.6mm, and the needle is covered with a cap for extra safety. They have a comfortable grip and guide marks to help with placement, making it pretty straightforward. The push activation is simple, and the needle retracts automatically, so disposal is a breeze. They work well and are reliable, though it might take a few tries to get the hang of it, at least for me since my traditional lancet device has a smoother trigger.
