Update: 4/1/17 My sister stopped by and saw my pill fob and showed me hers. They appear identical other than hers was purchased at the Dollar Store. We tested hers and it is water proof so I’m not sure why this one is so expensive. I’m leaving my five stars because it is a quality product but I’m feeling like I severely overpaid for it.
Original Review: Very sturdy, waterproof pill fob. Will hold entire bottle of Nitro and individual pills such as aspirin, etc. in separate top portion. I wear this on a lanyard around my neck and feel so much safer knowing help is always within reach. The cost was a bit more than I had hoped to pay but it was totally worth it for the peace of mind it brings.

Read many great reviews of this product and decided to purchase, oh boy, this canister stands up to the phenomenon reviews!!! Its thick and sturdy which I believe it’d very likely to protect what’s inside even if its rolled/ran by a vehicle, yeah, that kinda strong.
I purchased the one + one canister which is perfect for Nitro and Aspirin, but initially thought this canister is heavy on my keychain and likely an over-kill for the purpose, but after two weeks into using it, the ease of smooth opening and closing, quality of stainless-steel fabrication makes this purchase a great one. Yes, price is much higher than the cheaply made canisters, but, weeks carrying this canister and I feel my pills will be safe inside when I need them.

I got this to keep a travel-size supply of tiny synthroid pills in the top container (about 10), and about 10 ibuprofen tablets, a few claritin, and a couple benadryl and sudafed in the bottom. The bottom also screws into the cap just fine if you want to leave the top compartment off for some reason. The build quality is fantastic, I’m sure I’ll use it for decades.
Edit 11/22: yup, still love this. It lives in the interior zip pocket of my purse and I never have to worry about forgetting my pills. The tiny top compartment keeps the tiny pills from getting crushed from daily shaking.
Edit 4/23: The security professional at an Australian airport pulled me to the side to open it and make sure there were just pills in it. Maybe it looked like a shotgun shell in the X-Ray machine? It’s been through TSA a dozen times without question, but just be sure there’s nothing illegal hidden in there when traveling ;).

I am very pleased with the quality and workmanship with this item. Extremely reasonably priced for what you get: something that will last for years upon years. It is secure, watertight, sturdy and even the keychain is of good quality. This particular model has two compartments, a larger bottom one (designed for nitroglycerin bottles, but I use it for pills), and a smaller upper container as well. Great for carrying two medications around.
A suggestion: if you use the larger bottom portion to hold pills (as I do – it’s designed for that nitroglycerin bottle), if you don’t fill the whole compartment up with pills, tear off the corner of a paper towel or tissue to fill up the rest of the space before you screw it on. This will prevent the pills from jostling around and hitting each other all day (good for noise! lol as well as preserving your pills as some are prone to breaking apart).

I am so impressed with this pill fob! I purchased it for my husband who now has to keep nitroglycerin and baby aspirin with him. The bottle of 25 nitro pills fits perfectly in the bottom. The top part holds four chewable baby aspirin perfectly and even has a foam insert to keep them from moving around. I put labels on the front with instructions since you never know in an emergency if you will remember what to do or in case someone else is helping you. I was a bit apprehensive at first about the cost, but once it arrived I could see that it is worth every penny. The quality is amazing. It is made of stainless steel and will last a very long time. The parts screw together perfectly and the O-ring keeps it air tight and water tight. I also really love that it is made in the USA! I purchased one of the cheaper fobs at the same time and when I compared the two, there was no contest. The other one was cheaper for a good reason – it was cheaply made, so I returned it. When your life may depend on getting medications right away, you want to be sure they are kept safely and ready for you. You can’t put a price on that!

I have one on my key ring, have used it since 2018. I have never had an issue with the container. I carry my nitroglycerine in mine and I have just purchased a pairamedic key fob for my son so he can carry nitroglycerine and aspirin. I have never had an issue with mine unscrewing on its own and with the one I purchased for my son, the top cap was very easy to unscrew- no problems at all. Yes they do seem a bit pricy but the old saying… you get what you pay for. With that being said-this is a quality product… would not hesitate to purchase again.

Super well made with excellent machining. If you have medication or something else small that needs to be absolutely protected under any conditions this is the brand you should get. On this particular I really like the two compartments to have two separate medications and that both have their own gaskets to ensure they are water/air tight.
