I’ve had chocolate chew products that were hard. These are soft and fresh. I can’t take regular Vitamin D pills due to another conditions, these I can tolerate. Would like to see them 1/2 the size as I was prescribed to take 4 at a time. Price is good.

GNC has been around since 1935, and their products are high-quality. These chews taste great and are good value, especially with the occasional 15% off promotional. You are better off taking vitamin D separately, not combined with calcium. Because high dosages of calcium supplements are bad for your kidneys and have been linked to heart disease in some studies, you should try to get your calcium from food sources. Vitamin D supplements have not been linked to heart disease, but excessive doses can cause kidney stones, so only take the amount your doctor recommends. My vitamin D level has been slightly low in blood tests, but I drink a lot of milk, so I only take 1 or 2 vitamin D chews per week. No one should take more than 4000 IU of vitamin D per day unless a doctor is treating them for deficiency.

I am usually low on Vitamin D3 so I need to take supplements. These chews by GNC are delicious and because I enjoy them so much it is easy to take the five that I need to maintain the proper levels as directed by my doctor.
