Don’t be surprised. It’s activated charcoal and dark when you open it. Took as directed and helping with upset stomach and bloating. Doesn’t taste terrible either. Just pour and drink over your kitchen counter as it can stain.

When I first opened tge bottle, I was put off by the mess it made. It has a plastic ring with the cap that breaks as you open it, and that is difficult to open, as the ring didn’t fully detach when I turned the screw cap. There is no seal on the bottle under the cap, so it made a big mess when I first opened it, spilling a blackish liquid onto my counter.
The liquid did not look apetizing, but when I tried it, it actually tasted pretty good, kind of like grape allergy medicine. It also worked like I’d expect activated charcoal to work, soothing my upset tummy with that and the other added ingredients. So, in the end, I am pleased with the formula. I had no issue swollowing this, and I think kids would readily swollow it, too, without a fight.
Apart from putting a seal on the bottle under the cap, I think the manufacturer or seller should put the doses in a measurement more people in the USA are familiar with -tsp instead of or in addition to ML. I had to look up how many teaspoons 30ml was, and I bet I’m not the only one who wouldn’t know this offhand!

A must have in my 1st aid box. These are essentially activated charcoal that helps calm the tummy by relieving gas and bloating. Helped greatly after a meal of spicy curries.

So the product was OK, I didn’t love the taste but I honestly think what throws me off is the bland packaging. It makes me feel like my stomach is going to hurt more but it did seem to help.

I could not bring myself to try this. The coloring put me off immediately. My fault because I did not realize it contained charcoal.

I wasn’t able to use this because it has activated charcoal in it which would interfere with my other medications. I should have read the label before I requested it so that’s my bad. I did have a family member try it out and they said it worked well. Even though the liquid is dark because of the charcoal it tasted fruity and relieved their symptoms pretty fast. It also seems like a great value for the price for the amount of product you get. I just wish I could use it without it interacting with my medications but it looks like I’ll have to give it away.

I get an upset stomach way too much so decided to give this a try. the liquid was scary black at first but of course it’s activated carbon. it did seem to help a little when i got bloated from eating too many apricots – honestly my stomach hurt SO bad it was hard to tell what helped and what didnt but I like to think it did. There is evidence that activated charcoal helps – the other stuff, i’m not so sure.

The Gastro Calm really works! It is all natural and gentle on the digestive system. I tried this before attending a party where I knew I would be eating and drinking and likely getting bloated and gassy. I did not want to be embarrassed so I took some of this beforehand and it really just soothed my stomach. I did not get gassy, nor did I get bloated and I think this supplement was the answer for my issues that day. I will definitely use it again in similar circumstances because it has helped me.
