The problem is that over time it seems to me that the machine does not work, it gives you a reading of 230 and you go back to check it, it gives you 120 nk. I understand the problem is that if it gives you a high reading at night, but if it is low, you can I let you down too much at night and you die

one morning after wake up, 8 hour of fasting, it tested 103, I thought it was kind of high, then ate an egg, and tested again 1 hour later, it becomes 90, that can’t be. I started to suspect it was not accurate. Today I tested again in the late afternoon, 4 hours after lunch, it tells me 109. I thought it was high, tested again 30 minutes later, it tells me 95, I don’t think it will drop that fast, so I wiped off the blood, and squeezed the same finger for more blood and tested again on a new strip, it tells me 99. I have taken good care of the monitor, and the strip case. So this is a junk product. don’t buy.

Absolutely wonderful! You can turn the voice mode on and off. It’s simple. It keeps a log for me but also came with a log book. The screen is large enough for me to read without my glasses on. Love it!

I’ve had four or five glucose meters over the years. I’m not someone that needs to check his glucose regularly. I might check it to see how I reacted to a certain recipe that I made or to see if a new medication is helping first thing in the morning. I’m only borderline diabetic. That said, this machine talks and gives you the instructions. I would think if you took your glucose four or five times a day that might get annoying and I’m not sure if you can turn it off since I have never needed to do that. It uses a very small amount of blood. I can’t say whether that’s common now or not but the old machines I had, even though I had some that required the least amount of blood, required much more than this. The case I find a little tricky to use because I keep thinking it’s going to press against the on button for the meter and wear out the battery but so far that hasn’t happened. It seems to also be consistent. I’ve gotten within one or two of the same meter reading several Mornings in a row. I’ve not tried taking my blood three or four times within 5 minutes to see if it’s the same every time. It comes with a lot of test strips and overall I couldn’t be happier with a machine unless it was guaranteed 100% accurate, and none of them are.
