Bought these for my dad with limited flexibility and large feet (uses a sock puller) and he loves them. They are EASY to put on and stay up pretty well.
-Only concern is durability, as many of the socks have shedded attached threads in a short period of time. So far tho the socks look fine otherwise.

My husband wears bilateral leg braces over the calfskin. Finding socks that are both long enough and comfortable is difficult. These fit the bill, they stay in place, and protect his legs

I recently broke my leg, and had to have surgery. I was in need of socks that I could wear with my walking boot, I bought some from walmart that were too hard to slip over my leg due to swelling. I decided to look around on amazon, and came across these, glad I did. Love em, fit perfect and easy to slip over the leg

My feet are size 12.5 and 6E wide. It’s been a lifelong challenge to find comfortable shoes and socks. Add in a mix of edema due to some right leg trauma, and the challenge increased. My biggest recent challenge was to find a workable “equipment configuration” so the results produced by a team of excellent Occupational Therapy Certified Lymphatic Therapists would not be successfully maintained going forward.
I tried and spend several hundred $ buying and trying “wide, big toe box” knee high compression garments. Most of them, at age 80 with limited use of one arm, I could not even get on. The ones I could manage to get on were acutely uncomfortable, especially in the toe area. Open toe, closed toe, it didn’t matter. All of them created so much pain when I walked, I took them off within the hour.
The workable solution for me was a compression calf wrap with 5 large velcro tabs to secure it. Then the therapist indicted that for comfort and sanitation purposes I should wear knee-high socks under the compression device. I was delighted when I clarified that no compression was need as the velcro appliance would provide the compression. I first bought some of the “MD” allegedly wide socks on Amazon. They were hard for me to get on, cramped in the toe area and didn’t feel comfortable the entire length of my lower leg. Ugh! Back to the buy em and try em treadmill.
So, I got back on Amazon, and I scanned through the listing that resulted from searching on Amazon for extra, extra wide mens knee socks. This time the WIDE SOCK label jumped out at me. I don’t how I missed it the first time and purchased the MD socks. Most of my professional career I exclusively worn the exact same brand, only in black ankle sock style to wear with a slacks/jacket, but I’m glad I spotted the name and label the second time.
It’s great, after several frustrating months of ordering and trying all sorts of stuff, to finally have workable solution for ongoing maintenance care of my edema issues, and WIDE SOCKS is a key part of that very comfortable solution.

So my husband was looking forward to these socks. But however, do yourself a favor and do not buy them. They were so uncomfortable in his boots and also in his slippers. Yes that’s what I said, in his slippers. Save your money and buy something else. But there is one thing good about the socks they did not fall down. But however if you want comfortable socks? then get these. Have a nice day. This is a update on my review. We didn’t ask for a refund. But however they gave us a full refund 😃 that was super Cool of them!
