This pill organizer is interesting, and definitely a conversation piece. The design itself is eye-catching and somewhat bizarre, or at least unorthodox. It’s got some good things and bad things going for it:
Cons: This is much larger than I ever expected. Space-wise, this takes up more than twice the amount of shelf space than my current pill case does, which holds two weeks worth of vitamins, and this case only holds one week’s worth. The actual compartments are relatively small, and the openings are small as well. For example, a large fish oil pill barely can fit through the hole, and I worry about larger pills getting stuck in the compartments. It’s difficult to see what is in each compartment. It has to be turned every which way to see if I’ve left any pills in there. It’s awkward to open and close the chambers, and I wonder how difficult it would be for someone with arthritis or poor hand strength to do. Overall, it’s just way too much plastic for me. It’s kind of like they focused on a fun attractive design, and didn’t really pay much attention to practicality or functionality.
Pros: For people who need to take a small amount of pills three times a day, this could be a really nice option. Each day’s allotment is self-contained in one pod with three chambers, so if you were going to be out for the day, you could just take one pod with you, instead of the whole case. So that makes it somewhat useful for traveling. Each pod is labeled for the day of the week and is also color coded so that there should not be any confusion about which pills are for which day and which time of day.
I don’t really think this is very practical for me, but I can envision how some people might really like this design. I don’t think I would spend $20 on this, as there are much more practical and useful alternatives out there, but if this looks fun to you, you might give it a try.
The Tenneys –
I’ve never seen a pill organizer quite like this one. I take several meds daily and keeping track can be difficult so I always use a weekly pill organizer of some sort. This one looked pretty interesting and unlike any that I’d seen before so figured it was worth a shot, and I’ve been quite impressed.
What I really like about this is the fact that if I’m out and about for a day or even a few I don’t need to take a big organizer with me, which can be cumbersome and also potentially risk losing a week’s worth of medication. Just pop out one or more of these pods and can also use the handy little rope/bungee to tie them together kind of like a pill keychain. Unlike conventional flip-top type organizers that I’ve used, the rubber seal on these is quite strong, so this prevents me from accidentally popping open one or more days’ worth of pills and dropping them on the floor. Also, aesthetically, I think this looks quite cool. It is also a bit bigger than most weekly organizers I’ve used, but not so much so that it bothers me.
My one and really only complaint is that it’s not very easy to tell how many pills are in each one of the pockets, and getting them out can be a little awkward, needing to shake or move it to get the pills out of the recesses. This is a bit of a nitpick and not a big deal, and in my opinion, doesn’t detract from the fact that I think this is a really nifty and well-thought-out large pill organizer – Also, this helps prevent any accidental spillage.
Overall, I’ve found this to be quite convenient, well-made, and generally a good product that I’ve enjoyed using. I’ve ditched my other, more conventional weekly organizer and have been using this exclusively and plan to for the near future. Had I purchased this item I’d have no regrets… Very glad I had the opportunity to try this and would absolutely recommend should this meet one’s needs/use-case. Cool product! 👍👍

This weekly pill organizer is attractive and that is its only redeeming quality to me.
NEGATIVES:
– It is much larger than I expected, so it takes up a lot of space.
– It is awkward to load and dispense the pills from.
– It doesn’t really hold large pills well.
– The elastic is a challenge to remove from the front. An elderly person or one with hand strength issues would find it a challenge to remove the cord.
– Although the entire case is portable if the elastic is engaged, this is not a case I would ever transport.
POSITIVES
– The unit is attractive.
– Each unit is portable and has three daily chambers with cells labeled 1, 2, and 3.
– The cells open easily.
– The elastic is relatively easy to put on the unit after removal.
Overall, this is a disappointment to me. The current price of $16.99 ($19.99 minus 15%) is competitively priced but I just wish this was designed better so that it is more functional than pretty to look at.=

I have a day and night pill case (which is in the pictures I’ve uploaded on this review. This pill case does not fit either my day or my night times pills. I have to take 1 pill outside this pill case so I figured this would work for me. Just no. Doesn’t fit my pills, the string to hold the case is finicky, is overall a large design but doesn’t work for me. Also note spelling errors in the included instructions.

This pill organizer is HUGE. There is a box for each day of the week. Each day’s box has 3 separated compartments with silicone flaps that close and snap into place, as well each box is labeled with the day of the week. They are all held together in a large tray, the tray has a strap that goes across the top and holds the individual boxes in place. Personally, I would leave the strap off while at home, and use it while traveling. I would purchase this pill organizer for anyone needing the extra storage space or a larger set to make it easier to handle.
