I’m not sure how I feel about this. I purchased it because of articles I’ve read about how great this stuff is for your skin. (Speaking of emu oil itself, not this particular brand). So I found this one to be a reasonable price, and I ordered it. I am a user of many natural essential oils and natural oils for skin care. This was different from what I’m used to. I didn’t love it. I didn’t hate it. Maybe I’ve just not found the right use or diy recipes for this yet. I will say, it is greasy. And I also used a very small bit in my hair and FORGET ABOUT THAT!! it made my hair look so greasy! It ruined the style so much so, that I had to re-wash my hair. So maybe it just wasn’t right for me? If I find a better use for it, I will update. But as for now, it was just too greasy to use on my face and my hair.

I have tried 2 other piercing bump oils to help get rid of a nostril piercing bump that just popped up 8 weeks into my new nose piercing and I am so happy I found this.

This oil is magic!!! I cleaned my piercing with saline spray then put 1 tiny drop on the piercing and the bump and left it alone and it is shrinking so fast 🙂

In the past year I’ve been having flare-ups of cystic acne when I eat processed or fried foods like pizza, french fries, or baked goods. Often times it takes well over a month to heal and I’ve tried multiple home remedies like lime juice, icing, toothpaste, and plenty of other things that didn’t work.
I’ve had a particularly bad one for 40 days and counting and tried tea tree oil which did not really work. Finally got my hands after reading a great PDF guide about emu oil by Emu Bliss and put the order in. Since the order is sent from the Amazon warehouse, it arrived super fast. The product comes with a dripper so that you don’t have to waste any portions.
Don’t expect to have a huge amount of oil you can apply everywhere because the bottle is only 2.4 oz. To give you some perspective, the bottle is around the same height as a credit or ATM card. I used a q-tip and rubbed about 3-4 drops of emu oil before going to sleep and by the time I woke up the pimple was around half the size (original was size of my thumbnail). Amazing how great it works, being much more transdermal than something like tea tree oil.
If you have been struggling with cystic acne and have been wanting to get rid of that eye sore when you go out you should definitely get a bottle. Having the occasional flare up here and there since 18 (and now in my early 30s) – this is the best and natural remedy I’ve seen so far.

Let me say that this is a high quality product. I have no negatives to say about Emu Joy itself. I am getting chemo burns on my hands and feet. They are very painful. This oil does soothe my burns, but does not stop the burning feeling completely. I will continue to use this oil.
The other thing that I want to add is that the bottle comes with a pump cap. You cannot deliver a half pump, so you get a full pump (although it is small). I would like it much better with a glass eye dropper type delivery. I could then put it exactly where I want it, without having to spread it across my sore burns, and I could deliver a smaller amount.
I will buy this again. It is a wonderful oil. I just wanted to be honest about using it for chemo burns.

I have been using this for roughly 3 weeks now and it is amazing. I purchased this to use as piercing aftercare for a very difficult piercing. I was at my wits end trying to heal this piercing and it just wouldn’t heal. I was about to give up on it when I decided to try this as a last resort and I can say I am so glad I did. Within a couple days my piercing was looking and feeling so much better. The irritation, bleeding and scabbing all healed and it looks like a normal piercing now. It’s very soothing and moisturizing, my piercing is no longer dry, which wasn’t helping the healing process. I would recommend this to anyone having trouble healing a piercing. I will be using this for aftercare in all my future piercings.

If you want to know how much I love this product just look at the bottle itself, it is already half gone and I got it last week! Yes I am probably using to much but this emu oil really is the best on the market. I have been dealing with a terrible allergic reaction rash on my face, along with steroid induced rosacea, recently and have been on every prescription cream which only made things worse. This along with pure aloe vera gel has calmed my skin so much so I am literally shocked. I already have another bottle in my “cart”, I do wish the bottle was bigger but I just need to control myself using it, it’s just simply that good.
