As expected it gives results within a few percent of my other meters and my CGM. The app is really nice with a nice pie chart showing good, high and low. It also can track blood pressure, weight, exercise, steps and A1C. The app doesn’t sync with my watch, but does with some other brands.
The meter has a few gotchas though. It takes a fairly large drop of blood, and if you are even the tiniest bit short it throws an error and you have to poke and test with a new strip. I’d be likely to eventually get a big enough drop consistently, but I had several failures in the first week. The meter doesn’t automatically turn Bluetooth on to sync with the app until you choose three options with the buttons after taking a test. The defaults don’t match the time of day, so if you just click the button to select the default you get ‘before snack’, which assumes it’s a midnight snack at 7AM instead of assuming it’s before breakfast.
Everything you need comes with, except a test solution, but since I couldn’t see any way to calibrate a test solution wouldn’t be useful. The case (a zippered polyester bag, apparently) holds it all with elastic loops, but is a bit small so if you keep many lances in it it’s tough to close. The elastic strap holding the meter itself tends to be in the way if you try to take a sample with it in the case. It’s much easier to deal with if you take the meter out before attempting a test. I’m right handed, and holding the case in my left hand while unzipping puts the meter, strips and lancet on the top when you open the case. I’d have preferred to have the heavy bits on the bottom when opening it…

I’ve tried numerous times to use this, it doesn’t work. Now I can’t return it even though I have not had it a month. Buyer beware.

I picked this up for my husband, which was…comical:
So I have limited experience with these devices, however my wife has used them in the past. In comparrison with the one she picked up, this one had a really good amount of the test strips and the little finger prickers (more on this later).
I used the Bluetooth function with my phone, and while it wasn’t the most intuitive setup, it worked and did provide the result to my phone. The app that you have to download seems to have a lot of useful features.
So I may not be the best person to review one of these things. I’ve recently been warned to watch my blood sugar. Also, My doctors have told me that I have a strong vasovagal response. The phlebotomists were a little less diplomatic. They told me they were going to mark my chart “DRAMA!” In case you’re not yet with me, I pass out at the sight of my own blood. It’s a pretty selective response, prefering to cause me to pass out when there is the tiniest amount of blood and leaving me fully functional when a real emergency presents itself.
So here I am, at work, having had lunch about 30 minutes prior, and I start trying to figure out how deep I need to set the finger-pricking device. I’m working my way up slowly, because I know how likely it is for me to pass out while doing this. By the second stab, I’m getting sick to my stomach and flushed. After trying to psych myself up, I got a small droplet of blood, feeling a little woozy, and touched it to the device. It gave me an error message. I looked it up; too little sample. So I need a bigger drop. I try again, same error, but woozier.
Now mind you, I haven’t even gotten to a drop of blood the size of a pinhead yet, and I’ve now decided that I better sit down on the couch in my office and lean back. I try again, and now, with a drop just slightly larger than a pin head, and get a successful read. So I know it works!
I couldn’t get off the couch for about 10 minutes while I waited for my blood pressure to come back up. I tried again later that day after dinner, didn’t quite get enough blood, and decided that we’re going to have to go a different route on this because I can’t keep nearly passing out every time I need to track my blood sugar.
So there we go; this is a great tester, seems like a great package, and for most people, I have no doubt this thing will work great. In the meantime, we’ll have to find a solution for guys with “DRAMA” marked on their chart.

I like:
⭐ Results are similar to the measurements I get from the medical lab
⭐ Well organized kit has everything I need
⭐ Kit includes an excellent clear manual
⭐ I liked the carrying pouch to keep all parts together
⭐ Runs on two standard CR2032 3V batteries (included)
I do not like:
⭐ The kit did not include a control solution to test accuracy, even though the manual mentioned it
⭐ I wish the carrying pouch was a little larger, so it was easier to fit everything
The key point: The kit works well, and measurements appear close to the lab tests.

This item have excellent accuracy, big numbers, very easy set up, also you can define all your events ( premeals, post meals, excercise, etc.) . The kit comes with everything that you need for testing your blood glucose and it’s very accessible to everybody. I’m very happy with this buying and I recommend the item to people with diabetes.

This is a nice unit, but pretty complicated. Compact, but almost too many features in a small package. There is a lot of reading and a step learning curve to get going. It seems function well once you get started.

Got this because of its connectivity and positive reviews. Would have rated 5 stars, but it arrived with dead batteries that I had to replace before initial power-up.
Data log for glucose readings is seamless, but you need to remember to do data sync on phone after each reading. Size of display on meter is excellent. The strips, if I did my math right, come to about 19 cents each. The real big deal is I’ve yet to have a false reading, meaning I will use far less strips. Readings compare with my One Touch Ultra.
Being able to put notes in for specific readings is a key feature to me when using the glucose log on the connected app.
