The ingredients on the manufacturing box do not match the ingredients on the tube. So strange. Which one is correct? The active ingredient on the box says Colloidal Oatmeal 2.0% while the tube says Allantoin 0.50% and Colloidal Oatmeal 2.0%. The inactive ingredients differ as well. It’s made in the USA and expires on 03/2026. There was a seal underneath the flip-top lid. The cream is opaque white with a tinge of orange-brown. It’s moisturizing, lightweight, lotion consistency, gentle, comfortable to use, non-oily, non-sticky, non-irritating, and non-pilling. No white cast when it dries. It doesn’t interfere with clothing since it absorbs quickly. I don’t believe any synthetic fragrance was added but it does have a natural scent. It’s very subtle and non-offensive like aloe vera and oats/seeds. It doesn’t specify if it’s safe to use on the face. I am not currently having an eczema flare-up so I will have to update my review in the future. I’m very excited to test this! It’s not easy for me to find a non-steroid treatment that works. Manuka honey is my favorite but I am always on the lookout for other solutions. However, this says not to use near the eyes and that’s one of the locations I get rashes every few months.

I had a dry patch/rash at my chin and this seemed to have healed it. Maybe coincidence or it was a minor case. I think it helped with my mosquitoes bites as well but I wasn’t itching a lot to begin with. I do wish the cream was thicker in consistency. The thin consistency makes it easier to apply all over the skin but sometimes I want just a dab of it. I’ll keep using it and update again.

I had redness and irritation on my cheek due to benzoyl peroxide I think. It got better 2-3 days of using this cream. It’s not instant results. Upon application it made my skin redder and kind of burned/irritated but I continued using it and eventually it healed. I think when the skin barrier is damaged it’s sensitive and the cream will cause a sensation. The sensation should reduce over time as the skin heals. If not, probably allergic or intolerant to the ingredients. I was concerned at first. Glad I didn’t give up after the first application. As always, I will update my review if necessary.

I noticed the smell changed a little bit. It has only been a little over a month since I opened the tube. It is starting to have a little sour scent kind of like plain yogurt. Is an ingredient starting to spoil? If I remember correctly real aloe Vera is a little sour though. One thing that’s annoying about this cream is that whenever I open the lid, the cream starts purging out. I don’t even need to squeeze the tube and it’s already leaking out on its own. It goes on for a while so I have swipe the cream and quickly close the lid. So weird!

This skin cream is so gentle that I use it on my grandchild whenever I notice a mild skin irritation. I use it on my own skin as well. It’s clean and while I massage it into the skin; it appears to leave a protective barrier between the skin and the environment. It does not stain clothing and does not leave behind any residue.

This cream is nice. It’s not greasy and has no offensive odor. I find it odd that the ingredients on the tube do not match those on the box, but since the box I received has 2 stickers over the original print (which said eczema & psoriasis), maybe they’re just reusing old packaging? At any rate, the cream was soothing on an itchy rash on my leg that has been reoccurring for 20 years. The ingredients witch hazel and aloe have been soothing to this problem before, so it’s not surprising that this also helps. The consistency is a bit thin, so be careful when you remove the tamperproof label under the cap!

I’ve been struggling this past year to find something that works. I had used hydrocortisone since the late 60s, but it just wasn’t working. My hands were dry and rough. It was awful! I tried several new products, most of which were prescription only and very expensive—a couple were over $100 for my copay!

Recently I ordered some on Amazon—Oleacin worked wonders! Instead of having greasy hands and trying to avoid touching anything, it seemed to be absorbed into my skin. Today I had an oral surgery appointment, and when the lady started an IV in a vein on my hand, she remarked about how soft my skin was! I told her she wouldn’t have thought that a week ago! It was so nice to be told that! I hope this never stops working!

Been using this product for a month now and have seen wonderful results so far! Strongly suggest giving bit a try for flaked, irritated dry skin.

A friend of mine turned me on to Oleavicin. It’s the best i’ve found. I used to struggle with trouble spots like my fingers and hands. I feel much better about using this product over most of the other OTC creams from god knows where. I recommend!

  7. SweetPea

The last time my hands started to break out, I used this Oleavicin cream for a few nights and it helped keep them moisturized without irritating them further. I now find myself reaching for this over my other moisturizers.

This cream has a little more gel-like consistency than what I was expecting, but is very lightweight, not oily/greasy at all, and absorbs very quickly. It leaves a very light, breathable coating that doesn’t clog my pores. I’m glad I found this!

  8. Sheila Lawrence

This cream is good for moisturizing but it does not have any effect on flare ups. Normally, cortisone creams tame down the flare ups but I wanted to try something more natural. This was not as effective as I expected, not sure it’s worth for me. I also am confused as to why the box ingredients does not match the bottle.
