I should have read the label more carefully. I wanted a pine tar based lotion, this is a mediocre grey lotion that has pine tar and orange scents, not a pine tar based lotion. I had to apply it 3 times to get close to the results of using 1 application of Cerave lotion. It works as well as the cheap bargain brands. Definitely not 24 hr moisturizing as advertised. After applying some, I tried to pet my cat, she sniffed and pulled away, stayed away until I washed my hands.

Live this companies products. But this lotion is less then desirable. Goes on thick so you only need a dab but the smell is not the same as the deodorant. Like not even really close. I will not reorder this stuff.

It doesn’t smell like pine tar. I was looking for a smokey sort of pine tar scent because it’s literally called “pine tar lotion.”
It just smells like cheap men’s body spray.

I bought this because I really enjoy the Pine Tar soap from Dr. Squatch. The soap smells amazing so I was excited to double down on it and get the lotion too. I was hesitant because of the price (which is flippin’ ludacrous) but I figured i would give it a go anyway – again, because i really like the scent. Well guess what: this smells NOTHING like the soap. I mean, it’s not even close – zero resemblance. it actually smells exactly like Tommy Hilfiger cologne, which is fine, just not what i was expected and certainly not what i was willing to pay the exorbitant price for. If you want super overpriced lotion that smells nice, then this is for you. if you want lotion that smells like the Pine Tar soap label its branded with, save your money and look elsewhere.
Also, the pine tar soap from bulkapothocary is half the price of Dr. Squatch and its EXACTLY the same product. the more you know.

It works fine, I guess, as lotion, but you have to be really careful to not use too much because your hands will be greasy for hours. Scent is fine as well – it’s just the greasy feeling I can’t get past.
