I had tried “Dr Garber’s Natural Solutions: Depression” and thought it was effective, so I wanted to try the Skin supplement, but I haven’t noticed any difference after using this liquid supplement. Again, the information that came along with my review sample was all on the bottle labels, with no informational insert. So here’s the info from the label. Sorry for any typos; I had to use a magnifying glass and it was still very small print. It doesn’t say so, but the dropper has hash marks and fills to the right dosage level.
Now, I cannot say why “skin” is listed as one of the blend ingredients. You’d have to ask the good doctor.
I was interested in trying this product but would not buy it again when this is used up.

Note: Amazon requires Vine reviews to be posted within 30 days of receiving the product. This review is based on the 30 day supply I received. I only used the product for five days because it made me physically ill. This is my own fault because Amazon’s Vine label actually covered up part of the ingredient list and it was not until I went online to research this product that I discovered everything that is in it.
When I first saw this product, I assumed it was a topical oil. As a cedar oil, Cedar of Lebanon is a potent antiseptic and astringent and has a variety of topical uses. My first thought that there was a problem here is that you take this product by the mouth. The general safety considerations of all cedar oils is that they should not be ingested because it can cause damage to the digestive tract because of it’s potency.
The instructions are to consume 1 ml twice per day. That is far beyond the safe ingestion levels for a cedar oil! This is, however, a blend. The other ingredients include rye grain, English elm, glycerin, water, and 15% Ethanol USP (found in food coloring, cough medicine, etc). The label is problematic and evidence of the need for the FDA to regulate “natural” remedies the same way it does food and drugs. Normally, the order of the ingredients informs the consumer as to the relative amounts of a specific ingredient. The nearer to the front of the list, the more of that ingredient is present. The label on this product breaks up the ingredients list in such a way that you can’t actually be sure how much of what is in this. I can attest that the ethanol level is quite high because the product has a gods-awful taste. The label lists its “proprietary blend” at the top (cedar of Lebanon, rye grain, and English elm). The bottom part of the label includes the “other ingredients” which were originally covered up by the Amazon vine label. I assumed water had to be an ingredient because it would have been toxic for this to be a pure oil. I was not, however, expecting to find Ethanol in this product. Particularly in the amount that seems to be in this product.
As I said, this product made me ill after a few days of use. I suffered upset stomach and nausea, which disappeared after I stopped using this product.
Despite claims to the contrary, I do not consider this product safe for people to use.

It is hard to sort out what is accurate between the good and bad reviews on a product. One person here liked this and thought it tasted like vodka, another thought it tasted vile and that the cedar oil in it should not be ingested. If you put out this much money for a product you like to know what to expect but I do not know if there is any way you can. I have had no negative effects from the product and may even see some improvement. So I give the product a thumbs up, but I would have liked to use it longer before writing this review. It may work for you, but as with all homeopathic products, some people see results and some don’t. There are no guarantees.
