I usually love this brand and I was looking forward to trying their sunscreen. The texture is great and doesn’t leave any oily or sticky feeling. There is however a good amount of white cast if you don’t rub it into your skin very well.

Now, generally speaking mineral sunscreens are great for your skim but for me personally my skin is covered in dry patches and I have a red raised scaley rash on my neck after using this sunscreen. I, however have reacted to another zinc oxide sunscreen so it could be me. Just be aware, if you are struggling with sensitivity, dryness and rosacea you too could also react. My skin is literally just one whole dry patch right now. Just be careful.

I love Dr.G’s cosmetic products! Specially the sunscreen is the best because I have very sensitive eyes and can’t use any of sunscreens that most people were using! But Dr.G’s sunscreen was pretty mild so it didn’t bother my eyes at all and can protect my skin from sun. I highly recommend to the people like me!

Through this product, I learned that physical sunscreens are not for me. First, there is a white cast left from this (which is common with physical sunscreens) although it is not as bad as others I have used. Even if you use as little as possible, there will be a slight white cast.
This sits on top of your skin and never fully absorbs, so at the end of the day you should be using a cleansing oil to fully remove it from your skin. Due to how the sunscreen sits on the skin, it clogged my pores and caused some deep acne flare ups.
I haven’t tried applying makeup over it, but I would imagine the texture would not be good and it would not apply smoothly based on how you can physically feel the sunscreen sitting on your face even after hours.
I will be going back to chemical sunscreens which have never caused a problem for my skin. In regards to sun protection, there is no difference between this (spf 50) vs my old innisfree sunscreen (spf 36).

My skin is tan but isn’t really that dark and I consider myself to be on the fair side still. But this sunscreen took a while to completely settle and the white cast was still noticeable around my nose and along my eyebrows. It does have the “tone-up” effect which I know some people are looking for. It leaves a good finish after setting completely but if you have a darker complexion I would look for a better alternative. Has not broken me out yet and I have oily acne-prone skin. Also, my package came with samples so that was a really nice suprise !!

I really enjoy this sunscreen. Light weight and no white cast. It is a little pricey so I would buy directly from the seller. But it’s my new favorite

I like this sunscreen. It goes in with a bit of a white cast but that disappears fairly quickly. It works really well. I use Retin A so need a good sunscreen to protect my face. I also use it on my chest and hands.
