I am an avid camper so have used original Dr Bronners Peppermint soap for years. I love that they have so many new scents. I like florals so have been trying them all. This try is the Rose scent and it smells like roses. Not overpowering at all. Very light and pretty.

Dr. Bronners is the greatest soap ever… i’ve been using it everyday for about 5 years now, and i’ll never use anything else. I am an ex travelling/backpacker/street musician, and thats when I discovered this stuff… and i’ve used it for everything from brushing my teeth, to my hair, to my clothes, to my body, to my pets, to my dishes…. EVERYTHING… and it’s ALWAYS worked out very well. The Rose scent is my favorite, because while in the bottle it smells like Rose petals, but when you shower with it…. it actually smells like Sierra Nevada beer, which has a naturally rosey/fruity smell to it. It’s incredible. Dr. Bronners is the first/only soap i’ve ever used that also doesn’t make my skin feel dry and tight. I just can’t speak enough to the quality and overall love I have for this stuff. The ONLY thing I would mention to a person new to Dr. Bronners in the way of advice, is that ALL the scents are good, but everyone will have their own personal preference… HOWEVER… people new to this stuff should understand that essential oils are used in these products, and Peppermint is one of the available scents…. which means, if you choose to get the Peppermint soap, you should know beforehand that you will FEEL the Peppermint oils. The other scents don’t really have that “feel” factor…. but, the Peppermint one will make your skin feel cold and tingly…. which, some people like… but…. leave it in your buttcrack for long enough and you’ll start to feel like someone shoved an ice cube up your butt. I know that sounds funny… but, i’m 100% serious. If it ever happens to you I 100% guarentee you’ll start laughing and saying “that dude on Amazon knew what was up!”. Lastly, the Lavender one is my least favorite, and it is the only one that doesn’t smell exactly as advertised. If you buy the Lavender one, you may be disappointed by the scent, but it has a very nice silky feeling on your skin. Hope I helped.

What’s not to love about Dr. Bronner’s magic castile soap? It’s vegan, fair-trade, biodegradable, and organic. I should say “Most of all it works!”, but I’m admittedly one who is all about the smell-goods; I love the way these soaps smell. Also, It doesn’t contain any of those harsh and drying foaming agents. It’s concentrated and must be diluted (this stuff will burn your pee-hole and eyeballs, seriously). Dilute! Dilute! OK! A little goes a long way; you’ll absolutely get your money’s worth. There’s a laundry list of uses for Dr. Bronner’s and I’m always on the look out for new ideas that may benefit me and family. Saying it’s a multipurpose soap is an understatement. From armpits to dishes, I’ve been using this brand for over twenty years. Here’s a list (I love lists and will find any excuse to make one) of my favorite uses.
Shampoo
Body wash
A few squirts in the bath (the bottle is nice reading material)
Shaving
Toothpaste. Peppermint of course. (only in a serious pinch. It’s gross, but it works)
General purpose household cleaner
Laundry soap (again, in a pinch)
Soft scrub

Houseplant pesticide (peppermint – It works!)
I even wash my car with it!

My favorite scents are almond, peppermint and lavender; they smell delicious. My husband likes it when I buy the unscented and add a blend of eucalyptus and peppermint oil.
If you’ve never tried castile soap you really should give it a go. You’ll only miss your traditional thick lather at first, but soon realize it’s a grandeur you can easily live without. Castile soap does lather, just not like mainstream soaps containing additives and surfactants. Dr. Bronner’s really sells itself. It’s a natural, wonderful, high quality soap. At the very least, the incredible scents will make a fan of you.

The Rose liquid castile soap from Dr. Bronner’s has a lovely, natural fragrance that is pleasant to use. I have been using Dr. Bronner’s liquid castile soaps for more than fifty years now. It is mild and balanced and keeps my skin that way. But I think there is more to it than that, in my personal experience. I had someone tell me long ago that this soap cleanses the aura and I cannot disagree. There is a subtle, spirit-lifting quality to it that I still feel every single time.
